Physical Healing, Spiritual Awakening: What's Happening in Gaming Streams
Digital Missionaries: Faith, Healing, and Kingdom Influence on Twitch How do you turn a gaming stream into a mission field? In this episode of Ctrl+Alt+Redeem, @FlatCapDapperPastor sits down with @…
: All right. Well, let me just welcome in everybody. Uh, hanging out with TC Warrior, who I got to meet in person. Super excited about that.
: I wish we would have had more time to hang, but there were so many other people that were there. It was you grabbed whatever conversation was right in front of you, you had a great conversation, and then you were on to the next conversation.
: That's that's what it was. And on top of that, all of the great content that was happening while we were at the conference was super fun.
: Yeah. I felt like I was talking to a different person on the hour. That's what I felt like. I mean, I was always caught in walkways and, you know, just talking to people.
: It was great. It was really good. Yeah. I see I see you've got over in the corner your little, you know, member badge.
: Yes. Yes. Yes, I I I I saw that on your screen. I thought I better bring mine to just kind of show off, which you know what I really wanted to or I thought we were going to get was like a whole Pokemon set so that we could just play.
: Yeah. I'm like that's what I want. Somebody said, "Well, here they all are. Go make it." And I'm like, "Yeah, I want to make it, but I don't want to do like one at a time. I'm going to go through."
: Right. Yeah. I ain't nobody got time for that. Right. Right. I'll pay someone to do that. Not me.
: Well, so that was the original plan. That's what I heard. But a lot of people were their XP was a little crazy, so they couldn't make the whole deck.
: No, you could. You could. There's like this is what you just had to think through like um I have 22 hit points.
: Okay.
: But I intentionally set myself up that every attack can only do one point of damage. It doesn't matter what you hit me for. I I have flat cap armor and so I can only take one point of damage. You hit me, it's one point. So it's gonna take 22 hits to kill me.
: But a tip of the cap restores everyone in the party to half of their hit points.
: Nice.
: So I'm like I'm basically invincible, you know?
: Yeah. I just, you know, if I could tip the cap and uh I go back to half hit points like you got 11 more. You got to hit me with.
: So, yeah. Yeah, I know. Not everyone was thinking through, but I was like looking at them all over the charts in different places and I'm like, I know how to work around this system.
: So, that's why I wanted the whole deck cuz I wanted to see how powerful my character actually would be. But, yeah. Yeah. I I put biblical ASMR on mine and uh what was it?
: What was the other one? I had it close to me.
: I can't really see it on that screen. Where are you?
: Anyways, but basically I 70 times 7 was uh one of my
: Nice.
: That. See, that's it. The little fun things like that. Those are those are super cool.
: But, uh, you know, normally I start with, you know, talking about how'd you get started on Twitch, but I like we just came back from the conference. This is my first podcast after the conference. Uh what was the best part of going to Reach Conference for you, man?
: Uh so I I guess I kind of went in with a different mindset. You know, I didn't get to go to the first one. Uh so this one was special to me uh because of the way I got there.
: Uh but I would have to say just the connections, the communicating with different streamers, people that I've never met before. Uh that was that was huge for me because uh I know it may seem like I'm a talker and a go-getter and I would get out there and I just talk to everybody, but I I tend to stay to myself. I'm I'm a behind the scenes type of guy. But when God gets a hold of me, I just I just go for it.
: It's it's it's kind of crazy to But that's how it is, right? God takes something that's a weakness and he makes it a strength.
: Oh, absolutely. So when I was Yeah. Cozy cafe saying, you know, part of the introvert crew.
: Introvert crew. Yeah. Absolutely.
: And it's true. Well, there's also if if you've never been to something like this where you know of a bunch of people, they know of you, you have relationship, but you've never met in person. There's this I can't wait to see this person, but I don't want to intrude on them. And and is it okay if I go up to them?
: And is it not okay because you're trying to respect them as opposed to the average fan that just goes up and you know a person at a restaurant with their family trying to eat a meal and they're like can I get an autograph?
: We're we're not that crowd. Okay.
: So absolutely.
: But it's like the oh so exciting to see you and meet you in person and uh and there was just so many of those it was like ah where do who do I go?
: And I I made the mistake I realized this later. I I went to the first one and I took a lot of selfies with people and it was so awkward asking people and I go I'm just going to let people ask me if they want a selfie with me. I'm not going to go be that person and ask.
: Yeah. And then I went and I looked at the end. I'm like I got no photos with nobody.
: Like I should have just asked everybody.
: Right. Yeah. Yeah. Um I I did get a couple photos with a lot of people. What was so interesting about, you know, about Reach was is that I was kind of a known unknown, you know what I mean?
: There was a lot of people that didn't know that I existed, you know, they heard of me, you know, they heard TC but had never been in the stream before.
: So, uh, for them to meet me in person and we have conversation, I mean, I was talking to people for hours, two hours, you know, sometimes three hours we're talking and other people come in and it's like, okay, now the conversation shift from talking to this person to this person and it's like, you know, conversations back and forth. My voice was so sore from just talking to people so much. I didn't go harder than any literally Sunday night.
: Um I I got delayed. I was not able to to fly out. I'm in a hotel room. I just got done talking to to my wife and then I get a call from another person who was stranded cuz I said, "Hey, I I'm stranded. I got a room. If you need a room, let me know." I get on the phone and my voice just goes and it just closed up.
: My voice was dead. And I'm like, "Yeah, I got a room. You can come hang with me. We'll go get some dinner. And yeah, so and then and then I had a like a sore throat like like the next day I went to the doctor to get it checked out.
: Uh I didn't have strep. I didn't have COVID. It's just like you wore your voice out and now you got you caught something sinus infection and I still like box is just I got my handful of cough drops here still.
: I've been coughing since I got back. So
: Right. Yeah. But no, it was truly amazing. It was a It was an incredible experience.
: Uh I I would have to say that it has completely changed um my streaming realm. You know what I mean? Uh the doors that God has opened up uh the relationships that have built from it.
: Uh well to go one thing one thing you were saying about being known and being unknown. There's there's a realm at which uh I knew several people in Discord that I never watched and and so I had interacted with them and was super excited to meet up with them.
: We were doing some cosplay stuff. I went that realm. There was the uh um the VR or the VTubers that was a whole another group that was among themselves.
: But there's also the what time of day you stream and when you stream also are different realms. So I'm a morning streamer. So the evening streamers I may know of but I don't watch them.
: And as a morning streamer the same is true. Like for a lot of people it's like man you up early in the morning I go I know I'm helping everybody get their day started right.
: You know I'm here. And then you know for Europe and and the other half of the world it's it doesn't matter what time it is.
: So right there's there's those different realms. And I love when you overlap into a new realm and then you get introduced to new people over on that side.
: And it's yeah, it's so fun to to just have that overlap and the growing community and the overlapping communities. I mean, I'm one of those people that's kind of constantly trying to find new communities of Christian streamers to be connected with.
: So, as much as I love Reach, I'm not saying this is my only place. I'm I'm gonna go find I'm gonna find more who are out there, which I feel as part of my role, you know, with the church digital is to lift up and elevate streamers and help them get connected
: and help them find community and help them get resourced of what they need. Uh so, you know, that's why, man, it's so much fun to to hang out.
: It really is.
: And it felt, excuse me, it felt like it was too short.
: It was it was way too short. And and know for me, my schedule's kind of been a little different, you know, after the injury and everything that happened.
: Uh I've been kind of this midday into late, you know, night type of stream. That's where that's where my stream has been. So, I don't really have a set schedule uh in the sense of like when I really go live, you know, uh if I'm not helping my wife with um her cleaning
: business, which is what I usually do now since I I'm currently out of a job uh because of the injury and stuff like that.
: But as I'm getting better, um God has put it on my heart to help her grow her business. And her business has grown significantly since uh the injury, which has helped out with, you know, bills and stuff like that around the house.
: Uh so when I'm at home, I usually go live around 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. and then I'll stream till I feel a release.
: And I know that's kind of weird, but it's like uh we all stream for a purpose. We're all part of the body of Christ, you know?
: We we uh we're different parts. We may not the finger may not touch the elbow, but it doesn't make all that doesn't make them less.
: You know what I mean?
: I don't think I've ever heard anyone say the finger may not touch the elbow, but your part of the body Oh, man.
: That's deep. But that it's one of those things it's like we're we're all part of the same thing. We're doing the same thing. And I was talking about this yesterday uh where you know at the fundamental level of all of our lives as Christians, we should all you should see Jesus.
: Yeah.
: You know like of course we have our own personalities and different things that God has put in us but the fundamental level biblical level you should all see Jesus you know period.
: So people should come in our stream and say there's something different about him. Not because of my personality or how I talk or anything like that.
: They should see Jesus. That should be the difference. Uh and then everything else is just an add-on, you know. So I I take that serious.
: Uh but I love supporting all types of Christian streamers, you know. I'm part of the uh digital um DC. Yeah. Digital Creators for Christ.
: Yeah. And so I'm part of that as well. Um because it's all body, it's all united. Um I don't um push one more than the other.
: You know, uh I do think that reach is huge for new content, new Christian content creators to come out and meet like-minded believers that are about one goal.
: That's reaching people, you know, loving on people, encouraging people, uh, encouraging people to get to a heart of repentance so that they can know who God is, uh, who he really is and the purpose and plan that he has for them.
: Like, that's huge. It's important that, uh, we recognize what we're doing is more than just entertainment, you know? That's a that's a part of it.
: You know, if if you're not making people laugh and stuff like that, that's, you know, people aren't going to watch it. You know, if you're not entertaining, people aren't going to watch you, especially the ones that are aren't Christian, you know.
: Yeah. One of the uh we we just did a uh a 12-hour stream for Giving Tuesday uh with the church digital uh and one of the people was talking about how your content has to be greater. Oh, sorry. Your community has to be greater than your content. Sorry, I'm saying it backwards. So, yeah, community is greater than content. I create content to connect with people so I can bring them into the community.
: And one of the one of the wonderful things that Reach has started is it's made a visible spot for the church to pay attention to what's happening in gaming. There's a couple other spots that are out there too and they're doing it in different ways and I want to highlight all of them whenever I get the chance to.
: Yeah, but but there's that realm of which it's doing something to bring prominence forward and hopefully the church can start paying attention to that. The church digital we're trying to do that not just for gaming but all over the place in any realm where people are doing things and I love that aspect of it.
: So why don't we back up? We've been talking about Reach and we can come back to Reach again, but if we just stay on Reach, we'll be talking about it the whole time. And I knew I knew you'd jump in and chatting about it. Yeah, for sure. But why don't you start with how did you get started on Twitch? And if it was not initially I'm going to be a Christian streamer, then talk about what was the transition for you when you decided to be intentionally Christian and maybe you started that way, but just lay lay out the whole pathway of how did you find yourself on Twitch?
: Well, uh I would have to say five years ago. Uh probably five and a half years ago. I was watching Twitch with my son. Okay. He was he was 11 at the time. He's he's 16 now. Okay. Uh we're sitting there and we were watching and I I had Tenz on. He was one of my favorite streamers and he he's chill for most of the part most of the time. And then he starts cussing and yelling. And I'm like, "Dude, I can't watch you." So, I turned it to somebody else who was like, "Okay, maybe this guy's family friendly." You know, it was before they had all the different tags involved. I was on my Xbox, so you know, even less chance of finding it. Yeah. Even less chance. So, uh, I clicked on somebody else. So, it started off chill and I was like, "Okay, this is cool." And again, goes off at the mouth. Cozy talk just followed. Can't do this. And I I literally prayed this. This was a prayer. Lord, is there anybody on Twitch that is, you know, family friendly, that's truly family friendly, that is even Christian. And I felt in my spirit him say, "You do it." And I was like, "Okay." I didn't even know where to start. Yeah.
: It was one of those things that was like, "I don't even have a PC. I don't have a setup. I don't I don't know what I'm doing." And I was working for a company called the Vault Gaming Center at the time. And this was right before COVID hit. Yeah. You know, so COVID hits, we're booming in business. We've got PCs, we've got PCs, Xboxes, VR, you know, we're we're wrecking it as a business. We're doing so good. We're constantly full. People waiting on us to open our doors is great and I'm constantly there. Uh well, when COVID hit, you know, and the government overreach and all that stuff that we won't get into, but uh they made us shut our doors and so we started doing 24/7 live streams. Oh, and guess what I had to learn how to do? Oh, yeah. I had to learn how to do OBS. I had to learn how to set up my camera, do all the alerts, and all these different things that I didn't know how to do, you know? Uh but so we did that and my streams were a hit. You know, I had people that were constantly in there talking and chatting and I I didn't know that I was doing anything. I didn't even know what a raid was. Okay. I got raided one night, which was hilarious. I got raided and I see raid in the chat and I'm like, raid? What raid? What raid did y'all just do? Did y'all just do a WoW raid or something? So, I'm completely oblivious to anything that stream. It was It was so And they're like looking at me or they're saying in chat, "No, we raided you." Like, we brought the community over and I was like, "Oh, okay. That makes sense, I guess." Like, I was so new, you know? Uh, but we wind up we wind up shutting down completely. And I asked him, I was like, "Hey, is there any way I can just use one of the PCs to stream from home? You know, since I'm going to be at home anyways, I'm not going to be doing anything. I really want to continue to stream. Uh they set up a PC for me and let me take it home, let me take a couple monitors home as well. Uh they had a camera that they let me use and I started from there. And I I went in with the concept. I am a Christian first, streamer second, and I'm going to create this content uh for the Lord. And I started off on Facebook. I wasn't on this was when uh Facebook gaming had just hit, right? So, I wasn't I had a I had a Twitch, but I didn't even start there. Um so, I would go live on Facebook every day, and I'd play three games. That was my thing. I'd play three games a day. Uh League of Legends, Apex, and uh Call of Duty, Black Ops, uh I think it was Cold War. So, I'd play those games and I wound up getting 400 followers within like the first month of me going live on Facebook. Well, then God put it on my heart to, you know, start a Twitch or get my Twitch channel going. And it was because he was working out the kinks of my stream. Yeah. On the fa my Facebook portion of it uh to move me over to to Twitch. And I was affiliate. I think my first month in um I was getting followers like crazy and it was just it was a God thing, you know. It had nothing to do with me. I was just I was the willing vessel that submitted to that word. I heard that one word and that's all it took. You do it. And I was like, "Okay, well, I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I'm going to do it." And I've had my ups and downs. You know, I've had uh multiple different breaks. Um, there was a time where I was a GM of a business. Oh. And I I could not take the time to stream. I felt like I was um in shackles. You know, if I went streaming and I wasn't doing something for the business, then I was taking time away from the business and the people that I'm part of the business in or looking at the stream. So, it was like this tip or die. I knew what God wanted to do. So they're they're monitoring your activity live to know you're not Oh my goodness. That Yeah. So it was it was frustrating. That sounds awful. That reminds me of when I was a teacher and I was at uh at an alternative ed school. So I had students from two middle schools. So I had two principals that oversaw what I did from the two middle schools. Oh. And then the superintendent of the whole school. This was his baby, so he oversaw stuff. Now try to please three different people whenever you make a decision. Yeah. You can't serve. You can't. Exactly. Exactly. So, I knew what God wanted me to do. And I before I had taken a break, I was averaging like 21 to uh 30 people in my streams. Uh, and it was just all community, all fun, all laughter. I was decent at games, but I didn't want people to come in because I was amazing at one specific game. I wanted to build a community just to have fun, like, you know, have let the game be in the background, you know, as we're talking and communicating and chatting. Of course, I can get competitive and all those different things. I play competitive games. Uh, so I can get silent as I'm streaming, but the main focus of it is what are y'all doing? You know, what can I do for y'all? I want to get to know you as you're getting to know me. You're watching me, but I want to know what I can be in your life, you know, as I'm following Christ. What can I help you with? What can I disciple you with? Or if you don't even know the Lord, you know, what can I pray for you uh to get done in your life or whatever? How can I introduce the God that I serve into your realm and help you to see that he has a purpose for you at the beginning since birth, you know, that the enemy is tried to hijack and take from you. And I just I want to be able to in this digital space kind of bridge that gap, you know, because it's important that that happens. Like, okay, you may not know the God that I serve. You may not even read the Bible, but if I'm going to be the only Bible that you look at and that you read, per se, then I want to be a correct representation of who God is and what his word says. And so that was important to me getting getting in. So when that happened, I took a long break and I was getting Discord calls and all these different things. Where are you like what are you doing? Why are you not here? You you abandon us type of thing. Uh, Assassinator was part of that crew. Oh, really? Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So, she used to be one of my mods or she still is one of my mods actually before she started streaming. Um, uh, but yeah, so they were they were just wondering like, "Where are you? Where'd you go?" And I I didn't have an answer for them, so I stopped I stopped the Discord, you know, and I really just disappeared. Fast forward, I come back. I'm not consistent, but I'm there. People are seeing me go live again and they're coming in and saying hi and all these different things. And I'm like, cool. You know, people still are supporting me. Well, I took another break. And this one's recent, okay? Cuz I've been going for five years. This one was recent. This one happened last year in November. Uh I was dealing with some things in my life that I had to get right with the Lord. You know, there was some marriage things. Sarah's uh some business stuff cuz I now I'm owning my own business, right? So now it's like working seven days a week, not having enough time for my wife and my kids, not having enough time to stream because I'm trying to push this business and all these different things. I can't go to Reach First because I'm running this business. And I tell Romans like, "I'm sorry I can't be there. I love what you're doing, but I can't be there because I'm running this business." And uh it it was a lot of hurt and pain that I dealt with um in the business realm. You know, you get you pour your heart into somebody or you pour your heart into a company, you pour your heart into uh people and you you can't look at people like they won't fail, you know, because we're human. We have this this human nature, you know, this flesh nature that if you look at somebody and you exalt them as more than who they are, they will fail you. And uh that's kind of what I dealt with. I dealt with a lot of hurt and a lot of pain that um I wasn't allowing God to heal because I was working seven days a week, you know, uh two years, two and a half years straight, I was working seven days a week. Oh, that's it was crazy. Yeah. Like I just didn't have time to rest or anything. So when I got home, there was no time for strength, you know? That's that was the last thing I wanted to do was do what God told me to do and they hit that like button. Yeah. Yeah. you know, uh especially when I wasn't right with the Lord. That was important to me, uh that I didn't hit the like button knowing I wasn't right with the Lord. So, uh I surrendered everything, you know, and finally took a step back and uh I quit the I was working a job while I was doing my business. I quit the job because of the the people that were there were toxic and there was relational things. Didn't get into too anything aggressive. But I had to let that go. I had to let God I had to say, "Lord, you know, that's not going to be part of my life.
: I'm going to let that go. And then when it came to the business, business was crumbling. I let that go, too. And I was just like, "All right, I'm done with this. I'm done with that. Lord, I'm letting it all go." And then I worked for a company, got injured, I started streaming, you know, after I got off work, I started streaming. I started setting a streaming schedule. And I seen, okay, I'm averaging one, two, three people. And I'm like, okay, I get it. I understand. You know, I wasn't here, so I don't expect people to, you know, be there when I wasn't there. I wasn't consistent. I wasn't the person that they can count on, you know. So I'm like, I get it. I get it. One, two people in stream. I get it, Lord. I'm all in now. I'm going to hit the live button no matter how many people are watching, you know, because that's not my focus.
: My focus is that is an absolute must attitude. Yeah. I am going to do this regardless of how many people are watching. You know, at Reed's conference talked about don't have your viewer number right there where you can see how many and you're focused on that. But even more than that, I think there's a level at which do I trust that that number is correct even like am I trusting that on the screen because I know at times I have had more people chatting than it says that I have. So if that's the case, what about all the lurkers that are there? Like I can't, like if I'm watching that, I think it's generally going to always be lower than I actually have.
: And so, yeah, I can get caught up in that. And I know you probably have experienced this, too. Oh, absolutely. You go into a streamer that has only two or three people and you show up and you say hi and you're there for five minutes and they never read the chat and they didn't say anything because they were acting like nobody was there.
: Yeah. Yeah. Well, if you're acting like nobody's there, nobody wants to be there. Exactly. Absolutely. So it's one of those things. It's my whole mindset has shifted, you know, after the surrender, after getting right with the Lord. Because once again, it was important to me that I was right with the Lord before I hit that live button.
: Yeah. Because I'm not going to go live and not be right and preach a certain way or speak a certain way and then not be living it. You're going to be sussed out on Twitch so fast if you are not actually doing what you're saying. There is something about the live atmosphere that people are going to know. Like, if someone was just saying, you know, thank goodness for having a supportive spouse. But like, if my wife and I just had a fight and I get on here and I start talking glowingly about her and how wonderful she is, like everyone's gonna go, "Did you just get in a fight? Like, why are you talking so like this? This ain't right, man. Something is up."
: Yeah. Which, by the way, my wife and I were just having an argument before we got on here. So I'm just saying, you know, and you still love her. And I still, I still love her. Absolutely. We were arguing about whether she told me to not order something and she's repeatedly told me not to. And I said, "No, you didn't tell me." And we're just debating who's right. Yeah. And it doesn't matter. Yeah. What, what is my pastor calls it? A, uh, intense debate is what he calls it.
: Oh yeah. With him and his wife get into intense debate. But yeah, I wanted to be right before God, right before my wife, and make sure that I'm fathering my kids the way I was supposed to before I hit that live button again. And that was huge. That was very important to me. But once I did, God honored that, you know, because he knew that he, I know that he called me to do it.
: Yeah. Right. And that's, and that is one of the things that I, why I really am doing this podcast is I want to honor the people that God has called and saying yes, I can see it, and I want other people to see it so that other person who God is calling now can come and listen to your story and say, "Okay, I know that I've heard from God. My pastor may not understand. My parents, my spouse may not understand yet. But I can share this with them and say, 'Hey, look. This is exactly the same thing that I'm feeling and God's done it before and he's doing it now. So trust me on this and let's see if God is and what God can do and let's move forward.'"
: So it's that, you know, celebrating what God has already done, seeing what he's up to now, and then preparing encouragement for the other people that are going to come behind us.
: Yeah. Yeah. And that, it's what we've got to realize when we're being obedient, willing obedience. Like we can all be obedient, right? You know, I can get up and go do something, but where's my heart behind what I'm doing? Am I giving it my all or am I just be like, "All right, Lord, you told me to do this, so this is what I'm going to do."
: You know what I mean? There's a, oh, I totally, I totally know that one. There's a difference. And so it's that willing obedience that I'm in now that has caused the shift in the stream, especially going, I just did the Twitch route and talking about, you know, you don't know if there's a lurker. There's a top fan on there, Lucky with a V. Okay. Zero zero zero one. Okay. I never seen that name. Yeah. But they're on my top viewers. Yeah. Like among the top three and I don't even know who this person is, but I'm glad you're there. You know, they're, I've never seen them. I've never talked to them. I don't know their life, but they're watching. And it's like if they're, if you're being willing and obedient and you're allowing God to use you as a vessel to pour out, you know, as you're being poured into, you're pouring out to other people. It doesn't really matter who's watching because God knows who's watching, you know, and he's reaching. He's reaching those people through. I don't, I don't know if you like doing this. What I love doing is going and looking at the countries that are viewing.
: Yes, I've actually done that, too. Yeah. And I regularly have thirty percent or more outside the US and I love that. And I was just watching my last stream that I had done and looked at my numbers and I'm like, the top one of the top percentages was Russia. Okay. I don't know anybody in my chat that's from Russia. Why did that day I suddenly have Russia in the chat? It doesn't matter why I had Russia. And maybe they weren't chatting because English is a second language. So maybe they don't trust themselves to communicate. Or I have often other countries like Pakistan and maybe it's a closed country and they're like, "I don't want to be saying anything in here that would get me, you know, in any way doxed so that I might have trouble in my real life and in my surroundings and in my country." So some of, and this is a thing I commonly say in my stream, lurkers love it. You know, lurking is love, you know.
: Yeah. Lurk is love is so like you're hanging out. You're supporting me. I really want to know you, but I also have to earn the right for you to come out of lurk before. And those introverts and those second language people, they might take another barrier to come down before they're ready to do that.
: Yeah. Um, it's very interesting because here lately I, it's been like ninety percent America. Yeah. You know, especially because of the time that I've been going live. So it's like, but I do get those three enters, that one enter, and I'm like, "Oh, that's cool. I'm glad you're here. I don't know where you came from, but that's awesome. That's great." But it's all, it goes back to honoring God. And I've watched my stream grow before Reach and then after Reach. After Reach, after getting to know people, and God gave me a very specific goal when I went to Reach.
: Oh. You know, I didn't, and I posted this in my Discord. I was like, "This is not a vacation for me. This is not just me going to some con. I was like, 'This is a ministry.'"
: Yes. Mission. Yes. You know, because God had prepped me for going to Reach. I was waking up, you know, three months in preparation of Reach. I'd go to sleep and I would wake up in the middle of the night and I'm like, "Lord, why am I up?" Because I know he's the reason why I'm up, right? I'm like, "I just slept for three hours. There's no way I should be up right now." So I'd start praying, you know, I'd start praying. I'd start asking God, "Lord, Father, whatever you're doing in me, whatever you're prepping me for, I'm ready for it. You know, let's, whatever you want me to do, whoever you want me to reach, I'm ready. So just help me to be ready." And I did that for preparation up until Reach happened. And he gave me a very specific mission. He said, "Tell my people, tell my streamers to stick to the Bible, you know, to not compromise because what you get in compromise, you'll have to keep in compromise." And people don't, I don't think people truly understand what that means. You know, if you're compromising in your faith and you're allowing things to go on in your chat that aren't necessarily aligned with God's will for what he wants to do in your stream, you'll have to stay in that. And you'll never truly get to your full potential for what God has for you if you have to stay in, you know, the enemy will kind of put you in a trap and say, "Oh, well, you know, if you change up now."
: Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's that's so true of anything. I was a teacher for a while and so you would get taught on, you have to establish the rules and boundaries of the classroom at the start of the year. You can't let it ride all the way through Christmas, come back in January and say, "All right, I'm tired of you acting like this. We're going to change." Because you already established, like it is already in the DNA of, it's built in. Like maybe you can start over next year again and try to do it right, but it's got to have a whole new group of people because the DNA is already baked into it. And it, like, maybe by the end of the year if you're working on it constantly, and that, like, who wants that work? Like it's easier to start off and set your stream community the way that you want it and what you uphold to, then to change the behavior a year later.
: Exactly. And that's one of those things. It's like, you know, I knew that not everybody that I talked with maybe held to the same convictions that I held to when it comes to the Bible. I'm not talking about Israel's convictions. You know, my name is Israel for those of you don't know. A lot of you already know this because I share my name all the time, but it had nothing to do with me. It had everything to do with what the Bible says about specific things, especially hard topics that we tend to stay away from because we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings or, you know what I mean? It's like we're not trying to be punks, but we got to be true to what God's word says, you know? And that's that's the reality of it as a Christian streamer. It's staying true to what God's word says and letting God's word dictate, you know, how you respond to certain things, right? And people are looking for that. They're looking for that hope of saying, "Okay, I feel something in me that's not right. I live this way. This is how I live. I'm living this life in certain way in certain areas, but there's something about it that's not right." Well, if they, if they come to us as Christian content creators and they get confirmed in their sin realm, then what are we truly trying to do?
: We're actually being kind of pharisaical, right? We're making twice the son of, you know, hell as we're not helping them get out of the muck, out of the mire, you know, and that that to me is like, so that's what God put on my heart to share with people.
: And I was like, I get it. I know there's some people that may unfollow you.
: Yeah. And I said, "But you got to you got to count the cost because and let's be honest, you're not going to when you stand before God, and we're all going to do this, right? When you stand before God, God's going to ask you how you used that tool he gave you."
: Yeah.
: To speak his truth to reach people, to get people out of their sin and into his life.
: And what are you going to say? Well, I couldn't do that because so and so. That's not going to ride when you're standing against those eyes that burn like fire. That's not going to that's not going to cut it, you know. And so I take that serious when I'm when I'm live.
: It's all skinny. I was just saying, yeah, it's it's it's about integrity.
: Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. Uh, when I go live, man, it's like, dude, I may not see myself as a leader, but when I hit that live button, people see me as a leader.
: It's funny that word, that word leader, because I've I've worked in the church for a long time and trying to always raise up leaders in the church, focused on leadership, going to leadership training. I have gone to like more leadership training than probably well, there's a few people in the chat, so I won't say that. Like I say, that everybody in the chat combined, but there's two people older than me that probably have done just as much as I have. But it's it's like the average person doesn't go to all of that and you're constantly doing it. And the one of the things was is people don't want the title of leader.
: They didn't want that on them. The thing was they already were leaders. They just couldn't see themselves in the role because the title meant something different to them, because only an elder is a is a is a leader, only the pastor is a leader, only whatever is a leader. They couldn't see themselves.
: And if you if you take the analogy, which is which is several leadership courses we'll talk about, leadership is influence.
: If you have influence over someone, you are a leader. If you have a younger brother or sister that looks up to you, you are a leader. If you have a cousin, if you have a friend at school that looks up like like there are so many different levels of influence that you have over people and when you are influencing others that's leadership now.
: It's absolutely. So so yeah so talk about yeah let me raise my hand I want to be a streamer so God can hold me accountable for what I'm like right no no like no I don't I don't want to do that like give me the easy route please but again the other side. I'd be so bored with the easy route. I I just.
: It's so true, man.
: Do the easy route. I don't.
: Yeah. Yeah. No, I'd rather I mean, that's the reason why I put warrior in my name, you know what I mean? Cuz I I'd rather fight for what's right or, you know, uh fight against the darkness, push back against the darkness, which is what we're called to do as a church. You know what I mean? Like, you have all these different streamers that are influencing all these other people. They may not see themselves as leaders either. But guess what? When you have a hundred, a thousand, 10,000 people watching you at a time and they're coming to you saying, "Oh, you made my day so much better because you did this."
: Guess what?
: You're a leader.
: Yeah.
: You're an influencer and you're either influencing them to step away from God or you're drawing them closer to God. There's no in between.
: I you know what? That's so funny because I was just I was just wrestling with this idea around that that there is there's not a neutral influence.
: Absolutely.
: That or in in a lot of other things like you just like the words you say are either a blessing to someone or they're a detriment to someone.
: Exactly.
: They're not neutral. Like you can't just intentionally say something neutral about something. They're they're either are blessing a person or they're harmful to a person. They're not neutral. Now, maybe you intend them to be neutral and maybe maybe that's an exaggeration because if I say, "Hey, it's cold outside." It's a fact. It might be neutral. I'm not building someone. So, you could pick apart what I'm saying in that regard. But if I'm talking to a person, is my intent to build up that person or is my intent to lower them so I can build myself up?
: Yeah.
: And and that's doing.
: The Bible says life or death is in the power of the tongue.
: Yes.
: You know, it doesn't say, "Hey, you can semi slant that, you know, and have a little bit of this, a little bit of that." Jesus called that what?
: Lukewarm.
: Yeah.
: You know, that lukewarmness.
: Yeah.
: And we can't we can't be this fence hanger.
: Yeah.
: In the space.
: You know, people aren't looking for fence hangers.
: Yeah. They're yeah. Well, the other thing is is if you're a fence hanger in the space, people aren't going to be attracted to you. You know, uh, ukulele just said, uh, actually just had this come up an hour ago in a family discussion. It is either following God or it is distracting, drawing away.
: Yep.
: And now that's not to say, just to clarify there, um, me going fishing is a distraction from God or or doing something else that I enjoy. I I don't actually enjoy fishing. I just picked that for some reason. Uh
: Yeah.
: I can enjoy that because God has created beauty in creation and I can go enjoy doing something. So enjoying the creation that God has given us is also glorifying to God. So don't think that fun is not glorifying to God. There is yeah there's a book that should have come out or should be coming out soon, Theology of Fun, and I can't wait to read it. But it's talking about how God has created us to enjoy things. So the enjoyment of things is actually pointing us to God if we do it the right way.
: Well, the cool thing about it is and this is what we need to understand and I I talked about this yesterday uh during um we were doing devotion and stuff yesterday on stream and I talked about this yesterday like we don't put down our Christian hat like that's not it's not something you just take off. It's not like, you know, you taking off your hat and being like, "Okay, I'm not flat cap pastor right now." You know what I mean?
: That's not although in real life you would people would do think that that I'm not him anymore when my head comes off. So,
: But that's the thing. It's like it's not this is not Christianity is not something you just lay down, you know, when you're at the stop sign and somebody cut you off and you're throwing the middle finger at somebody because they made you angry, you know, and you're giving them a piece of your mind with your window up because and they can't hear you. You're the only one that can hear you and the passengers and the harm works too, you know.
: Yeah. And the harm works. Exactly. So, it's like it's one of those things. Is we we don't lay down Christianity in our lives like that should be our identity.
: Yeah, I say this all the time and I think Christian verse I think that people who spend a lot of time in the digital realm are starting to realize that there is you are always you. There there isn't the mentality that I grew up with my wife grew up with of you have to put on your Sunday best and that's not a a derogatory thing but it was like I have to dress up I have to put the best face forward I have to look like I'm perfect to go to church and then the rest of the week is a let down. So, it was it was this persona of and and and different denominations and different churches were all different. So, it's just that whole mentality of of you had to be superior to the rest of your life when you showed up with other Christians who were going to judge you for being inferior and and then you could go about the rest of your life where you didn't influence anybody for Christ. You know,
: That's not how this works.
: But it's not how it works. But the thing is, if you're hanging out in digital space all the time, there's no time to be off. Like,
: Yeah.
: You if you're Christian, it's not like, well, come to my stream on Mondays and Tuesdays for Christian stream and on Fridays come for all of the I'm act like a complete heathen.
: Yeah. All the the pagan podcast the the pagan podcast on Friday. Come in for that. You know, it's like
: Yeah. Debauchery on Saturday and uh you know it's like it does not work. You cannot go back and forth and and switch those things. You're who you are and it has to be all the time. Now, it doesn't mean you can't have bad days. It doesn't mean you're joyous all the time. It doesn't mean any of those things because life is life.
: Um and we'll come back to that in just a minute. But yeah, I
: I love I love that. So, how did that work for you at Reach to bring that message to people? Was it well received?
: It was I would have to say uh it was well received because it wasn't from me.
: Ah,
: You know what I mean? It wasn't just
: I totally totally know what you mean.
: Yeah. It wasn't just me just saying things like I had spent time in prayer, you know, getting in the word, allowing God to just do whatever he wanted.
: Yeah.
: Like, okay, I'm the vessel. Just I'll be Balaam's donkey and I'll crush somebody's foot if I have to. If I see them going off a cliff, you know what I mean? Like it's it's one of it was one of those things like I'll just I'll just do everything that you want me to do and I'll say what you want me to say. I I was hard pressed on not just bringing an opinion because anybody has opinions. We all have opinions. We all have noses. You know, they're all different. You know what I mean? But when you get back to the biblical basis of what we're doing as Christian streamers, when we call ourselves Christian streamers, that's something that everybody can grab a hold of because once again, we should all have that fundamental uh foundation that's grounded and rooted in in Christ. So that was the message that went forward. You know, I I literally put myself aside and as I was talking to somebody, somebody else would show up and then somebody else would show up.
: Oh, yeah. I think I I don't think I ever saw you alone the whole time. Like there was always two, three people every time I ran into you and I'd stop for a minute and then I'd be dragged off somewhere else or you would.
: It was
: Yeah. Yeah. It was It was an amazing thing. I think Saturday night, man. There's a uh it was me, Trevor, Don, uh this guy named was it Fracture or something like that. Um Glitch was there and dude I f physically and spiritually I was spent because I'm I'm getting over my injury. This is the most walking I've done in
: Oh,
: However long because I my ribs were
: I broke my ribs. Broke my wrist.
: So, what if you if you don't mind if you if you want to go back. So, did that happen while you were streaming that when you once you started streaming? That was one of
: Once I started streaming again, that's one of the things that happened.
: Okay. Cuz I do like to talk about what are some of the obstacles you've overcome. So, that certainly would be one of those. So, if you want to talk about what happened to you to be injured and the struggle to do that and then maybe one other obstacle that you've overcome uh as a streamer or or just barrier that's got in your way of of being a Christian
: Um, so yeah, the injury I mean that was fairly recent. It's probably about 14 weeks ago, you know, when this happened. I had just now started being consistent on a stream and I was working a different job and I wasn't doing anything crazy.
: I went up a ladder. I had been up the ladder all day long, you know, and I I heard just go to lunch is what I heard, which is what I should have did.
: I was like, "Ah, it's just one more ceiling towel, like nothing, you know, I'll just do it before I go to lunch."
: Got up on the ladder. Didn't go up too. I mean, I'm on like the what third ring step or whatever, you know, from the top. And I just go up and I reach for the ceiling towel like nothing, you know?
: And the ladder had a different idea. It felt like it got pushed like it it hit the ground so fast. I heard the ladder hit the ground before I even hit the ground.
: Oh, yeah. Yeah. And and I what was so crazy was is that I shouldn't have been able to fall the way I fell.
: I should have hurt myself severely bad. I knew I was going to land on the ladder. It was like everything was in slow motion, right?
: And it was like God gave me the whereabout of what I needed to do to minimize damage. Yeah. Which is kind of crazy to think about because it's like God wasn't the reason why that fall happened.
: Okay. You know, we do have an enemy that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That's what he wants to do. and he did try to do some things in that fall because definitely I was I was more than likely going to land on my back on the ladder is what was going to happen. And then we would be having a different conversation.
: But um I was able to turn and I was like, "Okay, I know I'm going to fall on this ladder anyways. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to put my hand down and then gradually go to my elbow and I'm like, I know I'm going to fall.
: is this is going to hurt. That's all I could think about. But it's like this is all in slow motion. This is not going to feel good."
: I've had those. I've had those actually. U I I won't tell tell the whole story here, but um I went to Reach Conference last year all bandaged up because I fell off of a ladder 10 days or 14 days before Reach conference.
: Yeah. Yeah. Not fun. Not fun. Not fun. So I'm six feet. I was six feet up. So that fall is significant, right?
: Yeah. So I I hit the I hit the ground uh fractur broke my wrist four different places. Uh bruised my elbow of course cuz I landed on my elbow after everything went down.
: Broke some ribs. Uh bruised my hip. Uh so many things. So many It was crazy. It was crazy. Uh and they came in. It was I was in the police department working on their ceiling towels at the time.
: So, the response was quick. Thank God for it. Response was extremely quick. They heard me yell and then I did not breathe for a while because my ribs are broken and my lungs are trying to figure out how to work now.
: Uh, so that was tough. Yo, what's up? How are you? It's so good to see you. Um, but it was it was one of the worst things that have ever happened.
: And I've been in car wrecks. I've been flipped over. Ribs are painful. Ribs, wrists. I I hadn't necessarily broken a bone up until that point, you know, ever that I knew of, you know.
: So, it was the worst pain that I ever had. And I couldn't stream because, well, my hand wasn't working. I'm in a lot of pain.
: So, I'm not doing. Not only that, I imagine just sitting upright was painful as opposed to laying in a comfortable position for Yeah, it was it was a disaster.
: It felt so bad. Um, you know, you you wake up in the middle of night cuz your hand wants to move and you go to move your hand and realize that's a lot of pain.
: I shouldn't be doing that type of thing. Uh, so yeah, that was a struggle because I'm like, I'm staying consistent. and I'm doing what God told me to do.
: And the enemy tries to throw this speed block, you know, there's just this barrier right in front of me and says, "No, you're going to stop doing this." And so I I share this part of the story because this is huge for me because I stood on the word of God, you know,
: when it talks about healing, when it talks about, you know, him wanting us in perfect health, uh when it talks about him restoring, you know, uh nothing missing, nothing broken.
: I stood on that and I was I was speaking the word. Yes, I was in pain. I was hurting, you know. I still feel a little bit of pain, you know what I mean?
: Every so often, you know, but the fact that I still don't I didn't want surgery. I didn't want any metal plates in my bones or anything like that.
: Uh because I just Nothing works the same with metal in in your body. It just doesn't. So, I stood on I'm not going to have staff surgery.
: I stood on that like this is not something I want. Lord, I'm standing on your word. I'm not going to have surgery. Uh, two weeks passed and we hadn't seen a specialist yet.
: You know, we don't have insurance. I was working as a contractor, so I didn't have any income coming in from that. Um, so it's like, Lord, I don't know what you're going to do.
: I just know it's going to work. Uh, I had felt my bones shifting in ways that did not feel right. I just felt something going on.
: So, we went back to the ER and we had another X-ray. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for the follow.
: Appreciate that. Thank you so much. Appreciate your support. Um, so we go to the ER and they take another X-ray and they're looking at me like, "This thing is incredibly bad.
: like you got to see a specialist." Yeah. Uh and so we're trying to get all this government support because I'm not working.
: You know, my wife's the only income. And they wanted you to jump through all these different hoops. Well, you got to do this, you got to do that.
: We got all the paperwork done. And they're like, "Well, now it's got to be approved. And if it's approved, it'll be a month down the road." I'm like, "I'm two weeks out.
: Like, my bone is already trying to set. I I don't know what's going on. I don't even know what it's looking like right now.
: They're just telling me that it's bad, you know? So, I I talked to my wife and cuz she was frustrated about the whole situation.
: I was like, just call the specialist. Just call Just call somebody. Call the specialist that they told us to call. So, we called them.
: And uh they were like, "Well, you were supposed to have an appointment today." And we were like, "We didn't call anybody for any type of appointment.
: And they're like, "Well, yeah, you're supposed to have one." Israel Derek, "Yeah, you're supposed to be here at 8:00 a.m." My wife's like, "Well, can we reschedule it for today?" And the doctor's like, "Yeah, he needs to see you like now." Yeah.
: Like yesterday. So, we get in and I know what I've been praying for. I know what I've been standing on, God's word, you know, and his promises.
: And I get there and he we go back for the X-ray. like we get all the paperwork and stuff done. Uh we go back to the X-ray room and doctor comes in and his face, you know, you could just tell when there's urgency and he he introduces himself and he says,
: "Listen, it's been two weeks. The bone's already sitting and he's like, "This was a bad break." That's what he tells me. This was a bad break.
: If we don't do something now, then the options for your wrist, you're not gonna have very many options. Yeah. And that's what he's telling me.
: And I'm sitting there, um, my hands completely swollen. You know, everything's jacked up. And I I can see that it's jacked up. And we take the X-ray and I go back to the room.
: But before I go back to room and they're taking the X-ray, I had this moment, this moment of doubt tries to sit in to my mind, you know, because of everything that I just heard that was contrary to what I was believing, right?
: Like, oh, it's a bad break. You're going to have to have surgery. All these different things, right? And as the surgery's hap or as the X-ray is going on, I'm sitting there with my hand out and I'm like, Lord, no.
: I was like, "I know what I've been praying for. I know what I've been believing for. I'm standing on your word that I'm not going to have to have surgery." And they take the X-ray.
: I go back to room and I tell my wife what the doctor says. She's on the phone with my mom and my mom's like, "Oh, well, he's going to have to have surgery." And and I'm telling my I'm telling my mom, "No, no, I'm not going to have to have surgery." Like this.
: I I got I see what the doctor's saying. I see the doctor's report. And this is where faith goes into action because a lot of times we see the doctor's report and that becomes our report that becomes our statement that becomes our identity.
: You know it's like this is our identity. Now whatever the doctor's report is is our no we serve the great physician his whose report will you believe?
: We will believe the report of the Lord or the report of the doctor. Now not to say doctors are bad or anything like they're good.
: It's good to know what you're fighting against, right? It's good to know what you're standing firm on God's word for it. If you have cancer and the doctor says that you have cancer, guess what?
: You have cancer. That's a thing. That is a name that is beneath the name of Jesus. That's one of the things that we got to realize.
: It is a name, but his name is above that name. So, yet you have the cancer, but the cancer doesn't become your identity. Right.
: Right. Cancer is there. The sickness is there. But Jesus is greater. That's what's so awesome about the God that we serve. He created those cells that are in your body.
: So when those cells are acting up, guess what you can do? You can tell them to get in line with God's word. How he created them.
: Okay, that's important. That's huge. Uh so fast forward, doctor comes in. Now his face is than what it was completely changed. He's now he's perplexed because he has no You could tell in his face like he's like I don't know what just happened.
: Yeah. So he's looking at me. He's like, "Okay, so we like to take the X-ray from the beginning to the end." And he's like, "Looking at your X-ray now." And he showed us the X-ray.
: He's like, "You see these bones that were there?" He said, "These four bones have completely moved out of the way. You have no jagged edges on your bone.
: Your joints attach to your wrist exactly the way it's supposed to be." And he said, "Uh, you don't have to have surgery." And he called his uh receptionist and said, "You remember that surgery I had scheduled for tomorrow?
: Um, cancel that cuz he doesn't need it." Yeah. He doesn't need it. like his his bones lined up. He said, "This I like a 90% chance your bone is not going to move.
: Like this thing is set." So, praise God for that. You know, praise God for that. That what the enemy tried to do yet was meant for evil.
: God was able to use that and show that doctor like, "Hey, I'm the creator. I created these bodies, you know, and God really did a creative miracle for me." you know, those bones moving out of the way, no jagged edges, you know, when you have four pieces of bone that you can
: clearly see edges. Yeah. With no jagged edges, that that's not an Israel thing. That's a God thing. So, I glorify God for that.
: Uh, but yeah, that was that was something like as soon as the doctor cleared me to lift one pound. Okay. Cuz I started streaming once I started feeling a little bit better.
: I started streaming with my left hand playing a card game that I had never played before on uh Epic Games. Yeah. Just because I wanted to be live again.
: I wanted to talk. I missed everybody. And I kept everybody up to date this time on Discord what was happening. Gave them X-rays and all those different things so people knew that I was gone for a reason.
: And uh as soon as he cleared me for one pound, dude, I tested it. Yeah. I was like, "A controller is probably one pound. I could probably do this." So I did. And uh we went live again. But there, you know, the obstacle of me stepping away from uh almost having splitting away from my wife, you know, that was that was huge.
: And that was another reason why I just stop I stopped streaming because I had to get right with the Lord, you know, and that was months months back now.
: But it's like that was another obstacle that I had to make a decision to follow God with everything that I am. Yep. And so I did.
: Uh and then the injury happened after that. But that's you know when you're going the right way. It's one of those things that uh when I started seminary that uh and my stream knows this. I've got I've got it right over there off camera is a target. It's a bullseye. And and what uh my seminary does every first semester because someone's always coming in the like the first week of of the of the semester there's somebody new there is they say if this is your first semester and you've just heard the call of God and you just raised your hand and you said I'm following God. He said what you just did is put that target on your back.
: Now the enemy is going to pay attention to you. Now the enemy is going to come after you. Now, now you are worthy of attack because you are pursuing.
: Now, if he can knock you off to begin with right away before you actually accomplish anything, that's you're an easy mark. And and then whenever like I feel this often whenever whenever I have something that was truly um great in ministry on the backside of that I feel like Elijah right after he he beat the prophets of Baal and I want to crawl up under a tree and die. I don't know why that happens so often.
: It's just it's the reality of of ministry. I just at times have that feeling like Elijah like ain't nobody doing nothing. It didn't have the results I wanted and yeah.
: Oh wait, because that was my my expectations of of what it should have been or it wasn't or all that but yeah that's awesome.
: I I love that. Now just anybody else watching I know plenty of stories like that where yeah, you know healings happen and those but I also know the other time where you're praying and the healing doesn't come.
: So, I don't know which, but I'm going to have faith in either either time. Absolutely. You know, I I never base it off of somebody's situation.
: Right. Right. Right. I just wanted to clarify that cuz I don't want anybody listening saying, "Well, well, TC Warrior said, "All I got to do is pray and my arm, my broken arm will be fixed." No.
: TC Warrior had a message from God that said fight, right? You don't need a surgery. Now, stay firm in what I told you.
: That's that's what we had there. It's a fight. You got to be willing to fight it for sure. In in my fall, um I I should have uh probably broken my back as well because I fell off of a a ladder and there was a tree stump behind me.
: Oo. And there was also a whole bunch of rebar at the bottom of the ladder. Like I I should have been in the hospital.
: Mhm. Um yeah. But uh I felt as I was falling these hands just do this. I I like the whole slow-mo, everything you're saying, your mind racing.
: I won't even go into all of that because I won't take away from your story, but just wanted to to to compliment yours. I felt the the hands just like move me to the side.
: I landed on the tree stump with my arm here and then gently fell in the grass away from everything else. And I was I the first thing I did when I was I was telling Discord, hey, I'm not going to be on for a while.
: while I had this happen and stuff, people were like instantly praying for no pain, praying for no pain, praying for no pain, praying for no pain.
: And I'm like, "Hey, I don't have pain." And then and then I had this thought. I don't know if you've ever had this thought before.
: Yeah. God answered those prayers before they were received by him. Yeah. He answered the prayers that I would have no pain because I had absolutely no pain.
: And like you looked at it, it was gnarly. It was And nothing was broken. like like I was on my way to the ER.
: I did not tell my wife till afterwards. Um my son was with me. He's like, "Should we call mom?" I'm like, "No, she's gonna panic until she has an answer.
: We're not telling her until I have answers." Um but it was like that I just felt the whole time like this peace over the whole situation.
: And and part of that was uh the community immediately going, "Hey, you're we're praying for you. We're praying for you." Yeah, absolutely.
: And it's it's one of those things and and I do want to cl clarify this for people like sometimes the fight is hard. Yes.
: Sometimes the fight is hard. Sometimes when you go to stand, you don't want to stand, but you got to continue to stand because that thing that is hounding you, it's not from God.
: A lot of people say it's from God, but it's not from God. You know, you can't find in God's word where he wants you sick.
: He wants you busted, bruised, battered, and all those. You can't find it in there. Uh I've tried. Uh it's it's not there. It's not there.
: So, uh some we have an enemy that again wants to steal, kill, and destroy. That's his whole goal. So, sometimes you have to speak to that mountain like Jesus told you to.
: Speak to that mountain. And that mountain doesn't want to move. So, you got to keep at it with God's word. You know, you can't let the situation, the circumstance, or something that happened to somebody else dictate how you approach your life.
: You got to stand on God's word. And I always encourage people, hey, if you can find it in God's word, it's for you. Yeah.
: It's for you. That that I mean, that's where I always stand. And I've had people get upset with me and frustrated about that.
: And I'm just like, listen, I just I just found it in God's word. And it's a fight and it can be a fight and it and you have to be willing to fight cuz the enemy is counting on you giving up.
: Yeah. He is counting on you saying nope. Yeah. A a bunch of uh agreement in the chat with different verses. I'm just going to I'm just going to pull this one out.
: Say to the mountain be removed. Um and and then uh it will which I always thought was interesting. Why would I tell a mountain to move?
: Like it's like the what did the mountain do? You know the mountain do to me? Yeah. Do to me. Um now if I fell off a mountain maybe maybe I would mountain to get out of here.
: Um but there's there is that other side too where like I like like what you were pointing out it was not from things are not from God that come against you that Paul had a thorn in the flesh from Satan.
: Absolutely. And God didn't remove what the enemy was doing. He said, "My grace is sufficient." So, so we have to hold those two things in uh in in our hands together.
: And wisdom and discernment finds the finds the answer in your situation for you. It's for Paul, the answer was my grace is sufficient.
: Um sometimes the answer is healing. Sometimes the answer we don't know. Um and and sometimes we're in that in between. If you had to walk from here to there and the mountain was between you, you'd want it removed. Okay, fair enough. Fair enough. That is true.
: And I would say, why would I be walking that far would be my question. Um I might I might be riding my bike that far and and then in my brain I would say, "Watch me conquer this." And I would get partway up and my legs would be screaming at me.
: Absolutely. Absolutely. But uh yeah, it's just so this journey, it's been an up and down, but uh I'm here for the long haul.
: Uh I'm in that obedience arc. I have it post like it's on my thing. I don't know if you can see it at the bottom where it says obedience arc.
: That's where I am. That's where I'm staying. I'm not um wavering off of what God has told me to do. You know, he told me to hit that like button.
: There are some other things that he's told me to do that I'm getting used to. I don't like being in front of a camera.
: I'm just going to be completely honest. Like I'm usually God behind the scenes. Uh not really wanting to be known at all. But once again, where I'm weak, God is strong.
: And this is where he's put me. He's put me at the forefront. Not because I'm anybody like special or unique. He's called all of us to reach people.
: This is just my way of reaching people. Oh yeah. And you're going to reach people that I that I don't reach. You're going to reach people that we've got a bunch of streamers in the chat that they can't reach.
: Uh they're you're going to appeal to people that would never turn my stream on. They're they they see a dude in a hat and a whole bunch of hats behind him and they're going to like, "What's up with that guy?" Like, "Let's keep let's keep scrolling.
: Let's keep scrolling." But it's it's one of those things as but that's going back to us being the body, right? and people finding that that skin that's underneath the toe.
: You know, if I'm gonna be the skin that's underneath the toe, I'm going to be the best skin underneath that toe. I'm gonna protect that toe as much as I possibly can.
: You know what I mean? That's that's where God has put me. Uh we just got to be okay with being a cell or being, you know, we're all not the head, right?
: Jesus is the head. There's only one head. Anything with two heads is a freak. Just saying in nature, okay, we can understand that. So when it comes to the spiritual aspect of things, we have one head, we have one head shepherd, we have a lot of undershepherds, we have pastors, you know, teachers,
: preachers, all those different things that are to edify and build up the church. Yep. Right. We we have those things. Those are good.
: But they're not the head. Jesus is the head and he's seated in heaven. So he's expecting his body to do what he has called us to do.
: And that's that co-mission. It's not just the mission, it's the co-mission. We're working together with God to get something done. Exactly. We are working together in unity with one another.
: uh when I was going through Bible school as a three-year uh institution uh called SMDI and we were going I was sitting there listening to the teaching and uh we were I was writing down notes and I had this vision of me getting to heaven with a bag full of seeds.
: Oh. And I was like interesting. I just I felt like I had this bag. I looked back and it was a bag full of seeds.
: And I was like, "Oh, that's interesting." Um, why do I have this bag full of seeds? And I heard in my spirit say, "That was seeds that you were supposed to plant that you never planted." And when I snapped too, I was like, "Well, Lord, I don't want to get to I don't
: want to get to heaven with a bag full of seeds. I want my bag to be empty." Y So when I'm streaming, I want to make sure that, you know, not forcing things, but being used by the like letting God in to your space, right?
: actually you're in his space. He created it all. Right? So allowing God to just be in your space and he knows how to reach those people that come in, those new followers, those uh unbelievers that you know may have questions.
: He knows how to do all of that. So what's so awesome is that we are entangled in this beautiful thing that God has created and we can reach out to him and say, "Lord, you have the wisdom.
: You have the knowledge. You have the understanding on how to reach these people. So I'm going to get with you first." Yeah. And then I'll let everything else flow out.
: Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. and and talk about that unity. And then there's a a comment about not all cups are passed to us.
: That just made me think of how um Peter gets told when you're old you'll be taken away and and led to you know his death. I'm paraphrasing. That's not what's actually but that's the just and uh he turns and goes hey what about John? And and he's like what's it to you if I leave him alive until I come?
: Yeah. It's like it's that whole thing that like, hey, the the walk that God has placed in front of you is is for TC Warrior to walk and the walk that's placed in front of me is for Flat Cap to walk. And we're not walking the same path. And and and we have to remember at times that comparison is going to tear down the body.
: It will. Instead of going, hey, you're walking that path and you're in the middle of a struggle right now. Let us as the body come around and lift you up and encourage you.
: Lift up and encourage. Absolutely. Let us let us let us mourn with those who mourn and weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice. Not tell those who are weeping, get over it. Not tell those who are rejoicing, "Hey, you're putting somebody else to shame because you're rejoicing." Uh, no. It is join in with the status of the person in their life. That's how you bring them comfort. Which is what Job's friends did for a week until they open their mouth.
: Yeah. Until they open their mouth. Yeah. A lot. So, and that's why I always go back to the Bible. I always point people back to the Bible because it's different from me just opening my mouth and saying something, right? Uh I could be completely out of whack, you know, from what uh God is trying to do in that moment. And there's some times where there is nothing to be said.
: You don't have to say anything. You don't have to say anything. Just being present is the most valuable thing you can give a person is your time.
: Absolutely. Don't water down your time by saying something that puts your foot in your mouth. Yes. Usually absolutely usually we want to say something to make the other to make ourselves feel better about the situation so we can leave the situation.
: Yeah. For real. And that it's it's one of those things. It's like who are we our God or are we following God? You know what I mean? Like I know, but a lot of times you just got to shut your mouth. If you don't know what to say, just shut it. Don't don't say a word, you know? Uh because you could speak one of those things, life or death. What are you going to do? What are you going to do? And if you're not being led by God to say anything, then just shut up. Like, let's be real. Let's just and even even if you don't think it's adding something, just go, "Oh my goodness, that sounds awful." Yeah. That's just that honest. Uh I'm expressing I don't know what to say. I mean say something stupid, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And that's that's what's so listen carefully, ma'am.
: But it's it's that's exactly because you can make the situation worse. You definitely can. Um and that but like I said we have this unique ability to reach to the father and say lord guard my words. Even David you know said guard my mouth. Why did he say guard my mouth? Why would he want to put lord guard my mouth?
: Because he didn't want to say something stupid that was going to be contrary to the will of God and wind up getting himself in trouble. Uh that it's something that we all can do like Lord guard my mouth. I've prayed sometimes for Lord just put a gag order on me because I'm going into a situation that I know for a fact I'm going to say something that Israel wants to say and it's not going to be good. So Lord just put a gag order on me. If it's not from you I don't want to say it. And there's times where I've just literally gone into a room and I've been quiet.
: Yeah. Cuz I'm not going to add anything that's going to help out. I I totally know those situations and and when our kids were growing up and and uh my wife and I came to this agreement at times where it was tag team you're in I the pastor will make the situation worse. Yeah. Yeah. You the loving mother need to come into this situation. Yeah. And we all have our rules.
: Oh yeah. Yeah. So yeah multitude of words. Oh, that's a yes, that's a a great proverb. Yeah, so true. Uh well, I know I asked you for a couple, but we Oh, I got a follow.
: Pipes just follow. Nice. Hey, thank you for the follow. Uh had a couple of those today. Um let's see who Cozy FX glitches coming out. Dubs. Let's go, guys. Community's coming out. Wubby follows for sure. Yes. Um, so let's let's just shift a bit. We can come back if there's another example you want to give. Oh, another one. Good job. Thank you. Go follow. Go follow. Yes. Follows are so fun. The uh so, let's let's shift. If there's another example you want to bring up later of an obstacle you've overcome or you've helped someone in stream overcome, we can do that. But I just want to go and and shift for a minute because that was deep and heavy and I like that to to be honest, but I also want to move to the other side of it. We mourn with those who mourn, but we rejoice with those who rejoice. Your support truly means a lot to me. I appreciate it. You got a follow coming. Cool. He was already following how he unfollowed. Oh yeah. Once you get to a certain point like they I think they did the limits on the follows now, which is wild. Oh. Um I I found that I think a year ago uh I hit the limit of number of people I could follow. Yeah. So weird. Yeah. So you have to start another account to follow more people. I guess I just experienced that. I'm like I'm going to I have to go back through and see who I'm following that isn't streaming anymore cuz there's a lot of people that have fallen off fallen off. They're not really helpful in showing you who's not streaming. But what I did is I had a bunch of people I followed early on as I was finding Christians. I just followed them. So they never actually put uh a face on. They just had whatever generic emote when you sign up for an account. And I'm like, you're not a streamer if you did not update that. So yeah, seriously. So that was how I cleaned out um at least several hundred uh follows was by going through and just saying, "You're not a streamer. I know this. You have nobody there. I wish it would also tell you like how many followers they have cuz unless it's someone you just followed in, you know, last couple of months and they have less than a hundred followers, they're probably not a streamer or they started and they're no longer streaming."
: Yeah. Yeah. But good luck with cleaning all that out. Yeah, it's gonna be fun. Uh so, what have been some blessings that you've experienced on stream? Something that just happened that's just a the work of God in either you or in someone in your community. Oh man. Uh dude, I I have so many things, but uh well, pick one or two. I I'll pick one that really really stuck out with me. This guy had been drinking. He came into the stream and uh I don't even know what we were doing. I think we were just playing games, having fun, just enjoying the time. He came into the stream and uh he was dealing with something, you know, something demonic or whatever. And he was, it was frustrating him and he was like, I don't know what I'm doing. He's like, I know of God, but you know, I haven't really surrendered to God and I'm dealing with this and I'm drunk. And he was like, I don't know what to do. And so we stopped what what we were doing and we prayed for him and uh he received instant peace.
: Yeah. Um from that prayer and he I hadn't seen him since. So I pray for him, you know, cuz I'm wondering, you know, how he's doing and if he's, you know, gotten to a point where he's given his life to the Lord. Um but God laid it on my heart to pray for him. He's like, "Dude, like I feel this peace that's in the house that I haven't felt before." And that to me is like it's kind of like this confirmation thing like this is why you do what you do.
: Oh yeah. You know, for these moments right here when people are led to the Lord on stream and those different like that's important to me. Like that's huge than more huge than getting, you know, 10,000 likes on one clip per, you know, like that that pales to comparison to uh doing Kingdom Business when you're live.
: So that and then just I just celebrated five years of streaming did my first subathon and uh we went up 603 followers during that subathon.
: Nice. Nice. That was crazy. And that's just that's a testimony to God who TC as a streamer is well. Yeah. But um so that was that was amazing because a lot of people that came in were from like AI and uh Papa Tsunami and all these different people that you know I just recently met at right you just met them and all of a sudden they're they're following you and now they're following and it was awesome to watch God move on that first subathon. I didn't I had never even done a subbathon, you know. I I had a thought of it like, okay, how do I even do this and God had put on my heart to do a subathon for five years. So I did in celebration and it it was a blessing to see all those people come in and you know all the subs and stuff that came in as well was just amazing for my family because it's like I'm streaming is what I do at the moment you except for helping my wife with housekeeping. Like this is what I do. This is a full-time thing for me. Uh and to know that if God called you to do it, he's going to supply it. And for him to use people that so graciously gave to uh the channel is something amazing because now I can get my wife something nice for Christmas which is awesome.
: Um which was on my heart to do. Uh so thank you guys that gave. I really do appreciate it. It means a lot. I don't take it lightly uh when people give to the channel and when people follow because to me that's like okay that's one that's one extra treasure. That's another treasure that's coming to the kingdom. Yeah. Or that's coming to the stream that I can speak into their lives. Like that's huge for me.
: Oh yeah. Every bit, tip, sub, dono, uh they they all are an acknowledgement that God is working in you and that they are celebrating and contributing to that, however they're doing it.
: So much for the follow. It really brightens my day to have your support. I appreciate it. Sorry, I'm just listen. Yeah, you have to listen to your full it just certainly brightens my day to have yeah, this reminds me of of uh you know when you when you have you must gather your party before venturing forth. That's that's the voice I keep hearing every every time. If you if you know that that's Dennis.
: That's Dennis. That's my AI Dennis. I can talk to him and he can talk to chat and stuff. So well, cool. I that's one of those things eventually maybe I'll do but right now nah I'm not there yet but five five years celebrating that what an awesome thing God has been using you and and you talk about well it wasn't consistent well life isn't consistent I mean go look at the apostles uh they weren't consistent they they were continuing to seek after and follow and then they made their mistakes and and all of those things so yeah that's cool and I'm not good with the subathons either. I think I only ever do them around affiliate or uh streamversary and the rest of the time like I have no bars anywhere that say hey sub. Like if you sub you sub. If you don't you don't. You know what the deal is. I don't have to tell you. If we're doing a subathon though you're celebrating together.
: That's a totally different thing. I get that. But uh I'm also called in a different way to this space in that I don't feel I'm called to be a full-time streamer because if I'm called to be a full-time streamer, it means I'm not able to go and support other people that God is calling me to do and to lift up other people. So it's it goes back to the part of the body that you are and where you're at and helping others is just as much as what I'm excited about doing. In fact, more so. I'd be happy to stop streaming and mod for four or five people, you know? And God's just like that's no, no, you're your face has to be out there because if you're encouraging people to do something, you got to do it yourself. And if you're a practitioner, then people know what you're talking about and you know what you're talking about.
: So that's cool. Oh, I was that's what I was going to say. Uh just encouragement on the guy that showed up and I've had those drunk people too uh show up which can be fun in weird ways and the community comes around when those happen and I haven't had one of those in a while which is interesting but you just reminded me of one or two that I had. Um but it's funny how God will lead them to your stream in the middle of their lack of full coherence to be loved in a time when they need to be loved when they're isolated and alone, which might have led to why they were drinking in the first place.
: Yeah. So um but the other piece of that is you talking about planting seeds. If you just planted the seed, you may never see the result of it. And God doesn't need you to see the result of it. You either planted or you just watered. I don't know which one it is. It doesn't matter. You either planted or you watered and someone else is going to reap the harvest. And when the harvest happens, it doesn't matter if you're there to see the harvest or not. You are a participant in it. Absolutely. You know, and the church digital, we pray at 10:02 every day. We are hoping by the end of the year to have someone in every time zone who is praying at 10:02. Uh because the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. And so Luke 10:2 uh Jesus said pray for workers for the harvest. And so you know we even got emotes for that. Nice cuz I love emotes. I'm like I don't know. I'm like where have you been all my life? Emotes. Why didn't I have you growing up? I mean, come on.
: Yeah, that's awesome. I like that. That's awesome. That's a good story. So do you have another example of something that you've been a blessing?
: Um, people giving their lives on to the Lord on stream. That's huge. Oh yeah. That's huge. Like stuff like that just gets me so excited, man. Like that that's another soul into the kingdom of God. And you know, we don't leave them there. You know, you encourage them. You be there for them. You disciple them. You get with them on Discord and you continue to reach out and uh you know, love on them. Yeah. Or maybe you were just the one that, like you said, watch that thing grow and then they find somebody or connect with somebody that really relates to, you know,
: Yeah. Who they are and what they're doing. Like and that's the thing about being the body. We're the body, you know, every if everybody's in unison and working coherently together. We're all part of that harvesting absolutely factor. You know, there's no one person less than the other. We're all part of it. Jesus is the head. He's receiving all these people by his body just doing what it's supposed to do. And it's great like when we're it that it makes it puts a smile on my face. It brings so much joy because like that's just how it's supposed to be, right? That's how it was in the book of Acts, you know? You had people that were serving tables that were anointed to serve tables. They were anointed to do it. And you had people and then immediately after being put into position to serve tables. The stories are all about how they don't serve at the tables. I'm just saying. Yeah. And they were preach what did they do? They anointed by God, started preaching the gospel, man. Like it's it was it's an amazing thing. It's like when you're just you're in something small, the spirit moves you to something greater.
: Absolutely. That's absolutely that's what I see it. And it's it's amazing. It's amazing. So just stuff like that really, you know, just gives me that, hey, keep going, keep going. And now to see all these people that have been coming back to the streams, you know, uh averaging now we went from averaging four people to like uh 15, 20 people which is great you know I mean people are coming in and it's phenomenal and I know what God's put on my heart for uh going into the new year and uh all through 2026 you know I wonder well do you want to share what God's laid on your heart I don't mean you have to put numbers on things but just what are you looking forward to that God is calling you into next year?
: Uh so I know that it's going to take work, but we're pushing for partner. Okay. Uh that is one thing that I'm definitely pushing for. We're pushing for partner and uh we want to reach 100 souls. That is the number. 100 souls. 100 souls and views. That's what God put on my heart. Steady views and 100 souls uh for next year. Like that is a mission that I am going to give my all to. And it's not about how many people are watching. It's about community coming together, encouraging each other, lifting each other up. And as new people come in and they see these people talking and you communicating and laughing and enjoying themselves in the things of the Lord, they want to be a part of that. You know, that's it's this draw that they see like, oh snap, like these people are happy. I had a question. What was it the other day? Uh a kid named Fearless who follows me. Okay? You know, he we were playing Fortnite and I'm laughing and I'm losing and I'm hitting shots here, hitting but I'm just laughing. We're having a blast. And he asked me, he's like, "How are you so happy? Like I all this craziness going on in the world." EG, of course, she hears Fortnite and she just sounds crazy. But um he's like, "Why are you so happy with all this? I see all this hate in the world and this crazy stuff happening. How are you so happy?" And I said, listen, I just I said, it's not me. It's just the joy of the Lord. I said, I know who I serve. You know, I get to wake up and I get to do this. You know, it's not always like that, but it's like when you forget your gratitude, you're shutting the door to what God can do in your life.
: So it's like I wake up and I realize like everything in my body works. My hands, my feet, my, you know, my eyes open. My I can smell things. I can breathe. Those are things we all look at as such a small portion of our lives, but it's so huge because we don't we don't just because you don't think about it doesn't mean it's not huge in your life, right? It's massive. You don't think about the lungs that are in your body because God designed them to work, right? Yeah. Yeah. You don't think about the heart that's pumping the blood through your through your veins because God designed them to work, right? And you don't think about your toe until you stub it. Yeah. Exactly. So it's it's one of those things. It's like God is so miraculous in the way that he's created us. Why not be grateful for every moment you get to spend in this space? And it brings joy to my heart because at one point in time I almost lost my wife. You know, I didn't know if I was going to be a part of my kids' life. Do you want to share about that or not?
: It always brings tears to my eyes because it's like, dude, the restoration process that has happened, people don't understand. It's like the God that I serve, he's real. He's amazing. He's wonderful. And to almost lose my wife because of a stupid decision that I almost made, which was the reason why I left the job, you know, and I haven't really shared it because Yeah. It's up to you if you want to share or not cuz it's tough. Yeah, it's tough, you know. It's tough because this it was a rough part in my life, guys, where you're there's this girl at the job that I was working at who I tried to stay away from and didn't want any part of it. Uh kept coming by, kept saying hi. So I was like, "Oh, you know, it's innocent. It's whatever." Uh wind up having feelings for this person that is not my wife. You know, now I'm struggling with these feelings that I never thought I could ever have for somebody else. So I'm telling my wife everything that's happening because I can't stay quiet because I serve a God that's not going to let me stay quiet, you know, and he's bringing correction to my life. And I'm fighting these things constantly for months. I'm fighting this. And finally, I had to make a decision to just leave the job because anytime that I was under that influence, I wanted to be a part of that woman's life and I could not be a part of that woman's life and be a part of my wife's life. It's not possible. So I had to leave a job. But going through all of that, going through all of that and seeing what God has done now in my life and the transformation and the surrender and the recommitment and watching God bring these people in. It's all God, guys. It's all God.
: Thanks for sharing that. The uh it doesn't matter how you start, we're all going to the finish line. Yeah. Oh, it's it's all God, man. I'm just so grateful for what he's done. Uh how long you been married? Uh it's going on 17 years. 17. Oh, nice. 17 in January. So nice. And if you've been married that long and you haven't had any struggles, like come on, you know? Yeah. Like everybody has struggles and everyone's marriage has their own struggles. They're they're unique to them. And there's there's the I would say on one level, you being open and honest um is much better than hiding all of that and having it come out later and having it be a secret that is revealed. Uh that like whenever you do something in a marriage that you don't want your spouse to know about, I don't care what it is. Yeah. Um, yep. You know, I I bought another sticker. I I bought another hat. You know, whatever it is, what like I know I know people that would buy something, hide it, leave it for months and months and months, and then be able to say, "Oh, that I've had that forever" because they have they just never wore it because they were hiding it from you until they could bring it up. So it doesn't matter what the temptation is in your marriage. It communi not communicating openly and honestly and keeping secrets are going to be one of the most detrimental things absolutely that are going to come between you and your spouse.
: Yeah. Yeah. So it was it was huge man and uh God prevented anything from happening uh that would have been devastating truly devastating to my marriage. Uh and he's restored me and my wife. Uh we are stronger than we ever have been before. And it's great. Our relationship has grown. Uh you know, crazy thing is all of the working and all that stuff that people say, "Hey, you have to work the 9 to 5 and you have to do this, you have to do that." Like people, you know, you grow up with those traditions. Like if you're not if you're not the man working and doing these things and like get Yeah. You know, get past that. Yeah.
: It's like I'm doing what God's called me to do and my wife stands behind me 100%. What's happening right now with the stream and because she knows that God's called me to do it.
: Yeah.
: My pastor knows that God's called me to do it. A leader named Joshu. He's an awesome brother in the Lord, you know, he goes to my church as well, knows and understands what God has called me to do when it comes to this digital space.
: Uh so to have that encouragement, um but to have your wife, your help me be there and encourage you, hey, keep going. Do those subathons, keep the momentum, like do those things you don't like to do.
: Yeah, like because maybe somebody's waiting for the invitation to bless you.
: Yeah. So it's like she's like keep doing them like God's moving on your stream like just just do it.
: And so uh I I have coined the phrase giveathon which is what I'll be doing. Uh because it's one of those things that if people give back if people give to me I want to give back to the community.
: So, it's like, okay, if I get a certain amount of subs, I'll give a sub. Got it. If I get a certain tip, I'll give it I'll give a sub.
: So, it's like giving back to the community because they're giving back to me. I want them to be able to watch me for free.
: You know, whoever gets it, that's awesome. That's great. Like, hey, come in. You didn't have to pay for it.
: Yeah.
: Let's make it happen.
: Like, so Givethon is something I'll be doing. Uh, that'll be my future events. uh will be giveathons.
: So, but yeah, God has been just so amazing, guys.
: It like I said, no matter what you're struggling with, no matter what you've been through, no matter the situation, the circumstance, you realize that Peter's story would be different of him walking on water if he would have just kept his eyes on Jesus.
: Okay? But he still had to get out of the boat. You know what I mean? This guy was a fisherman by trade. So he knew, okay, that he had to get out of the boat.
: He had to put his foot on the water and he had to walk toward Jesus. All right? So we don't discredit that part, but you imagine the story where he just walked to Jesus, kept his eyes on him, and then walked back with Jesus.
: Yeah.
: With his eyes on the entire time. Tall tall tall skinny Kiwi had had a comment earlier and it just scrolled past and now he's saying he's been banned twice by Twitch in the conversation.
: Oh no,
: really.
: He was just saying that TC is correct and that the early church had struggle of giving out aid to both the people of the land and the people of another further away land.
: And yet it was just about helping widows and orphans no matter which country they came from. Humans are humans. Absolutely. Absolutely. Well, thank you uh tall skinny Kiwi for sticking with it.
: I just had seen the other. I was going to read it, but they pretty much close to the same thing. Uh said there and said very well.
: The uh Yeah. The Well, I I like to point out there are four groups of people that God mentions in the Old Testament. Uh the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the foreigner.
: Yeah.
: And those are the ones that the people are supposed to constantly take care of. And who do they usually take care of?
: Me.
: Yeah.
: So, you got these four, but instead this guy, that's who I'm taking care of.
: Yeah. You know, God's really put it on my heart to be a giver.
: Like, I've I've been a giver since I was a kid. I've loved to give, you know, uh that's why I represent uh ETP, Equipped the Persecuted, uh which is an or
: Oh, is that what that's for?
: I did not know what ETP was. Tell us about ETP.
: So ETP is equipped and the persecuted. they uh go and they uh build orphanages and schools and housing in Nigeria where a lot of people don't understand or comprehend that Nigeria over the past 5 years has had 90% of martyrs in
: Nigeria. And so this this group of people led by Judsaw uh they go out and they actually put the pedal to the metal, you know, they don't just say it, they do it like they live it.
: You know, my pastor just came back from there and he's planning on going back uh next year in March. and the the amount of encouragement and uplifting that this this org brings, you know, and I don't just represent anybody, you know, I I represent Reach.
: Why? Because I believe in it. I represent ATP and change my name after talking to Judge Saul and hey, can I share what you're doing on my stream?
: Like, I want to be a part of it. So, I changed my name from TCW Warrior 2020 to TCORE ETP to kind of have that conversation, right?
: Well, why is that? What does that ETP mean?
: Well, you know, Clifton Persecuted and I have their or listed in my uh in my about.
: So, if you want to go check them out, they're definitely a work worth giving to for sure. Uh, I've got tons of different videos of what they've done and how they've really built up the church out there.
: You know, our fellow brothers and sisters in Nigeria, just like our fellow brothers, sisters all around the world that are really dealing with true persecution, not somebody Facebook post, somebody left a fat Facebook post about me.
: Oh no, what am I going to do? not not that like their lives are on the line and that and that's it encourages me to keep going because when my pastor came back he had a different mind about him.
: I just and he's always had the mind of Christ mind of God on him. You know what I mean? He he lives it, he breathes it.
: He walks it. It's in his family. It's it's in everything that he does. But to see the joy that they have over there
: Oh yeah.
: you know, dealing with what they're dealing with, being constantly attacked and brutalized by uh I I don't know if I can say this, but a certain group of people
: just religious zealots of a different religion.
: Yeah.
: You know, and they're dealing with that on a daily. Their lives are on the line just meeting.
: Religious persecution.
: Yeah.
: just in meeting, you know, and we we get mad because it's too cold in the church that we're sitting in, you know, or it's too hot.
: Uh the the worship music is not the way I want it to be. What are we doing?
: Yeah.
: You know, they they worship.
: My pastor told a story. They worshiped when the electricity went off.
: Yeah.
: Okay. Like the electricity went off during worship. Mhm. I've had that happen.
: Yeah.
: He said the praise got louder.
: Yeah.
: As the electricity went down, the praise got louder. And we get mad because it's 75 in the church and it's too hot.
: What are we truly doing? Like honestly, what what are we mad about?
: Well, sometimes comfort seems to be our god, you know, at times.
: Yeah. Yeah. Uh, have you have you ever uh had a chance to go to Nigeria?
: Not yet. Not yet. I'm praying that I I will get the chance to go.
: Uh, if God opens that door for me to go, then I definitely want to get out there and uh, you know, do whatever I can to to help out for sure.
: Have you Have you got to go on any mission trips before?
: Uh, I've never personally been on a mission trip.
: Okay.
: Ever. Uh, it's not something that I've had the opportunity to do.
: Oh, yeah. Not everyone has the opportunity. I I know that.
: I I am fortunate as a pastor to have had lots of opportunities to go.
: Um what's really strange to me is I've not been on a mission trip since I moved to this house and this is the house I've lived in the longest.
: So yeah,
: like I've not been on a mission trip for nine years,
: right? and and I keep searching for them and I keep trying to plan them and they keep falling through on me and God have to say this.
: Yeah. Go ahead.
: Say this.
: What you're doing right now is missions.
: Oh, I know. I know it is.
: It may not be in the sense of like traveling somewhere else.
: No, it totally totally
: man what you're doing right now you know maybe that you going on a mission would take away from what God is having you do here you know and so it's important that we we understand that this is our mission field this is our battleground we are stepping into a realm where the enemy thought he had control right that's oh I created it you didn't create nothing. You're You create counterfeits, okay?
: Everything that the enemy does is a counterfeit. God controls this space, and we're just taking it back.
: Well,
: okay. We're we're standing up.
: We're standing firm, and we're taking it back.
: We uh man can create things, but God can redeem those things if they weren't created for God's purposes.
: Yep. Absolutely. So, so no matter what something was created for, I I love using these examples because a lot of people don't know them or or don't remember.
: So, during the the worship wars of, you know, the '80s, '90s, can we bring a drum and a guitar into the church or not?
: Yeah. They forgot that the generations before us had the same argument about the piano that everyone accepts and the organ that everyone accepts because all of those instruments were created for secular music and were in the bar hall.
: And so if they were in the bar hall, they can't be in the church. And it's like, well, why not? Why can't we use something created for non-good purposes to do something good with it?
: And I think that goes for anything man created. So if you have problems what's so funny is you have problems with AI coming along redeem it then find a way to redeem AI.
: Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt what I just wanted.
: No but what's so crazy is you know David
: Yeah.
: What did he dance to the string instruments?
: The drums the harp. You know what I mean? So it's like you find these things in the Bible that were used by God to bring what?
: worship to him. Who created worship? Who created music? You know what people don't understand is that Satan was the angel of wor. It's what he did.
: He was created to bring worship to God. So what is he going to try to get Christians to stay away from? Music. What is he going to make an argument in the body of Christ?
: Music. Oh yeah. What type of instruments we can do? What kind of what kind of genres we can get into? Why would he do that?
: Because he knows that music has influence.
: Oh yeah.
: It's a major influence in the lives that we live every day. I have music on.
: There's people. You're in your car. Guess what? You have the radio on. You're listening to something. Is it edifying you or is it tearing you down?
: You know what I mean? Music is important. That's why when you see things that are bickered and battered in the church, look at the origins.
: Yes.
: Start to look at the origins of where it came from and who it glorifies truly. Because if the enemy doesn't want it, guess what?
: You don't you don't want to give him something that he wants, right? You want the opposite.
: Yeah.
: You don't want to be his friend.
: you want to be his enemy. So if he's trying to combat something that God has established, then look at the origin. See where it's coming from.
: Where's the fight truly at? We don't fight against flesh and blood. We get so caught up in these flesh suits.
: Well, not only that, he tries to turn the body to fight against the body.
: Exactly. And and like right now it would be so easy for the enemy to creep in to reach conference and try to divide us, try to try to get us to pick fights with one another, try to get us to feel slighted by someone else, try to have our egos bruise
: because all like, oh, TC Warrior just got 130 new followers from Reach Conference. I only got three, so I you know, I'm going to start a feud with you over that or or whatever it is, you know, like
: Yeah.
: Um or so and so got photos with everybody, but they didn't take a photo with me. Like there's so many ways that we could be so many petty, not that they wouldn't be true, but the intent wasn't there.
: And we forget that. You know what? If if someone like I find most of the time when I'm most offended with some by somebody, they are unaware that they have offended me.
: Absolutely. When I am the most angry about being offended, they are the most clueless that I have been offended. Absolutely. Yeah.
: When they when they actually think they offended me, I probably am like, man, it's okay. No big deal. Exactly. Exactly. And it it's we have it so backwards.
: And you know the Bible says uh those who love the word won't be offended. So if there's something that is in you that is causing offense, maybe there's something that's there that's like, oh maybe I need to get my word more.
: You know what I mean? Maybe I need to lock it in a little bit more because uh things are going to come that are going to try to offend us.
: Not saying that you won't get offended. That's not what I'm saying at all. But you don't have to operate in that offense. Well, and and I don't have any issue with offending people if you do it intentionally because Jesus offends people intentionally.
: He goes after the Pharisees. He's going absolutely, "Woe to you Pharisees and teachers of the law." He's saying it to their face. They ought to be offended by it.
: Yeah. Okay. If they weren't offended, then he wasn't actually reaching them. Exactly. Yeah. So, you know, if I offend somebody by teaching the word of God, guess what?
: Yeah. I love you. I care for you. I want you here, but I'm not gonna stop speaking the truth because it's the very foundation of what I live on.
: You know, God is the centerpiece of my stream. And I tell people that as they come in with raids and everything. I I tell I'm like, listen, this is who I am.
: I talk about God on the stream. You can tune out when I'm doing that or you can tune in, but I'm not going to stop doing because I want views.
: It's not about the views. God's going to bring the views, right? He's going to bring the people who he who he wants me to reach.
: He's going to bring those, not me. If I start to reach out and try to bring people in, then it's a problem because then I'm centering things around me and what I want and how I want to do it.
: That's that's not going to get me anywhere except for a another influencer like every other influencer that's out there that's centering all the attention around them.
: Oh yeah, the attention's not around me. The tension's on God. Yeah, we have laughs and people laugh at me all the time.
: We have jokes and we have these different things, but they know that if it's time to pray, if it's time to, you know, if somebody asks a question, guess what TC's doing?
: No matter if he's in a battle royale or something else, guess what he's going to do? He's going to talk to that person. People were saying that earlier like, "Yeah, you're in the middle of a battle and someone asked for prayer." All right, we praying.
: It's just over. We praying now. Like, so it's cuz that's more important to me than the next, you know, no scope sniper, whatever.
: Funny you're just saying that. The the difference of I I just had this happen to me. Uh I was playing a new game.
: Uh, I was playing uh, Clare Obscure Expedition 33 if anybody knows that. Great. My son introduced you to it. I'm loving it so far.
: I'm in the middle of a battle and this guy came in that was new and he's trying to get me to go look at he creates stuff.
: So, he wants me to go check out his emojis and that which I'm fine with, but he's like, "Can you go do it now?
: I I sent it to you in Discord." I'm like, "I'm in the middle of a battle. Like, I'm not leaving the battle to go look at your stuff.
: I told you I'd look at it when I'm done streaming." If that person had asked for prayer, oh, completely different, completely different.
: He was he wasn't asking for a need. He was asking for something he wanted in a different way. And I like I hadn't even thought about that till you were just saying that the the difference of what I wasn't willing to give him uh was because of the way he was coming.
: Like, exactly. Hey, my life is falling apart. Hey, I need some Oh, I'll get I'll be right with you. Um, I'm trying to I'm trying to sell my wares and I'm not interested in those, but I'm trying to be courteous and say, "I'll I'll look at your stuff because I appreciate
: beauty and creativity." So, I want to check it out, but I'm not your I'm not your market, you know? I'll I'll be generous and and and and check it out.
: It was like, "Oh, no." Like, you got to come now. Mel's going, "I remember that guy." Yeah, this just happened. So, I hope I hope he's not here.
: And I don't mean to offend, but it was just like this opportunity to kind of go, "Oh, I I get that." Because it is the difference of where the value is and how the I and I know he wanted me to value him by go looking at it now.
: And I wasn't giving that, but maybe I should have a little bit more been willing to do that than just play my game and and lose the boss battle.
: But I already lost the boss battle and I was trying again the second time. But it's like it there's a difference. You know what I mean?
: There's a difference uh like there's stuff that yeah we can do offstream you know it doesn't have to be right now people can get demanding and stuff like that and that that can happen uh but my whole goal is kingdom first yes TC second you know well that that
: we we talk about this in the church planting realm is um building the kingdom or building your castle. And I and I think that applies to streamers as well.
: Are we building the kingdom? When we're doing collaboration, when we're doing raids, when we hang out in each other's streams and each other's discords and our group ones, we're building kingdom.
: But when I isolate myself and I don't give regard to other people, I'm building my own castle. And uh my castle will be stronger if the kingdom is stronger.
: And I can have less forces in my castle if if the kingdom is stronger. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Absolutely. So, it's it's it's great that like I said, it comes back to unity.
: It's getting back to the book of Acts Church and just being that body that understands like oh my goodness. I think we are the closest to looking like Acts of any generation.
: We are so close because we can go into digital spaces all over the place. go to all of these unreached people groups that aren't the groups we think of.
: Gamers are an unreached people group. They are. They literally are an ungrouped people unreached people group. People with disabilities are an unreached people group that we can reach digitally.
: uh you know and there's so many more that you know people that are isolated and lonely homebound is another unreached people group that digital can pervasively get into people's hands because they have a phone in the palm of their hand and you can get in front of people that will never walk
: through the doors of a church. I know you know that but I'm just kind of like no that's the beauty of what we got in front of us.
: It's a beautiful thing. Sorry you mentioned the book of Acts. I get all excited. No. Hey, I get really excited about the book of Acts.
: Okay. It's huge because I understand like they recognized that there's one head and we're here for a mission. Yeah. We're here for a call.
: We're here for a purpose and that is to reach people to bring the true treasures of earth into the kingdom. You can't take gold.
: You can't take uh your favorite shirt or your favorite necklace. You can't take those things with you. But one thing that you can take with you to heaven is people.
: It's people. You can stir those things up in heaven. That is important. That's important to God. It's important to Jesus. It's important to us.
: It should be important to us that we're looking at every individual as that's a treasure. Oh yeah. Created for a purpose, a plan.
: God has called them, appointed them. And right now, if they're not living for him, Satan is trying to hijack them. He's trying to hijack them.
: So, what am I going to do? How am I going to be represent Christ to this person that's in front of me? That's true.
: So, they can see the God that I serve. So that they can truly see him. Because I may be the only image of God that they see.
: I may be the only Bible that they pick up. Yeah. So, it goes back to being that correct representation of who God has called us to be.
: Yeah. Absolutely. Goes right back to that. And that's huge. It's huge. Yeah. Tall Skinny Kiwi, I'm going to totally agree with you.
: To bring the true treasures from the kingdom of God into the world. Absolutely. That that is profound. That is a profound way to say that.
: That's that is great. Um, but but I think that's what we get to do. Like I tell my wife all the time and she she can see it.
: I've not been as excited about being uh in missions and ministry since I was in seminary. You know, it's it's like there was there can I cannot imagine another time in my life being more excited than now.
: Like right it's all unfolding. It's all right here. It's there's so many possibilities. There's so much just openness to go and explore and do things like and I don't see that slowing down for the next 20 years.
: No, like the the the the curve with AI is going to add new levels. There's going to be new platforms. There's going to be new ways to reach people.
: It's like we're we're in the book of Acts right now. We're in the book of Acts all over again. the kingdom is spreading and the the church doesn't know where it's spreading and pretty soon they're trying to figure out, well, what do you mean you're over there in the gaming stuff?
: It's too late. We already are. You can't stop us. You know, we've been here. We've done that. We've been here. We've been wearing the t-shirt for quite some time now.
: Yeah, we've been here. What are you talking about? You know, uh I I joke in that way, but but I I'm not really joking.
: I I mean it's true that you have conversations with people in the church and some their eyes roll back and they're like what are you talking about?
: You can't go there. People need to be uh here in person. Doesn't matter where you're talking digitally. There's people that have that view that nothing is as good as being in person.
: Okay. I'm not trying to argue that that nothing is as good as being in person. Yeah. I'm trying to say there are people who will never come in person.
: Exactly. And I'm going to go to them. Yeah. Yeah. So, if it's if it only matters if you're in person and they never show up, what did you do?
: There were no The seeds are all in your p your pocket still, man. Exactly. Yep. You're not planting. You're not plant. Yeah.
: So, I'm excited to be uh able to do this with you. Uh it is such a great thing to be around like-minded believers that just have the heart of God.
: I I love it. Uh because it's it's incredible. It really is. So, I am looking forward to the things to come. Yeah. Uh then watch God work.
: Um I know that he's working. Uh I'm going to continue to let him work in me. I know that you're going to do the same.
: Yeah. That's that's the thing is letting him work in you. Exactly. Y and and not you got to not not doing all the striving yourself.
: Yeah. Absolutely. Now, when he when he calls you to things, being faithful to those, like, you know, the days you don't feel like streaming, but you've committed to it, you don't know.
: You don't know. Maybe that's the day your your stream is there for you. Yep. Cuz those days happen. Those days are fantastic.
: So true, man. It's so true. I love those days. Those are good days. You know, you spend a lot of time pouring out and then the streamer or the people come in and they just pour into you. They encourage you and they love you and it's just an amazing thing because they're part of the body, too. They're part of the community, too. You might be the streamer, but they're part of the community. They're vital. And I've got a lot of just such fabulous people in the chat right now that I know. And some I've met in person and many I have not. And boy, I look forward to the day when I get to.
: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I've known a lot of these for years. You know, Sunshine's been around for a long time. She still streams and she's an amazing woman of God. And she was one of my first mods.
: Yeah. Okay. Nice. Yeah, I've known Sunshine for a long time. It's, you know, I think it's been about three years now since I've known Sunshine. But just knowing God is just awesome, man.
: Absolutely.
: He's awesome.
: Any last things that we haven't talked about that you want to just share with people of what's going on in your life, things that you're doing, or just things you've learned of being faithful to pursue what God's calling you to?
: Um, God is looking for those that are once again willing and obedient. He's looking for those that are going to step out and go all in. Ten toes deep. All in. Don't stop. Don't quit. Don't back down. Four years, four months, twenty-five days.
: Like she was almost there at the very beginning of when I started streaming. That's incredible. But if you're listening to us right now, okay, and you feel this tug on your heart to maybe want to know who Jesus is. If you don't know who Jesus is and you want to know who Jesus is, reach out, okay? Join Church Digital. You can hang out here. Join the Discords, get in there, reach out to us personally, and we will get with you. We'll give you scripture, we'll pray with you because we want you to experience what God has to offer for you. That is why we do what we do. And another thing, if you're feeling the tug to stream, you know, don't hesitate. Step out in faith, okay? That tug is there for a reason, especially if you don't want to do it, okay? If this is something that you're running from and you're like, I don't want to be in front of people. This is crazy, you know?
: Oh, yeah.
: Then just step out in faith and say, Lord, I feel the tug. I feel it on my heart. This is where you want me to be. And God will use you. Trust me. And maybe you're just one that is in chat. You view. You hang out. You're just as important. You're just as important.
: Absolutely.
: Okay. We can talk to a camera all day long, but having people in here chatting and, you know, making us laugh and encouraging us is huge. You play a major part to bringing people in to the channels and bringing people into the kingdom, okay? So know that we love you all. We love you all. We really do. We don't just say that. I know he doesn't just say it. When this man says he loves somebody, he loves somebody.
: Absolutely. And I'm the same way. We love you the way that Jesus loves you. But we also want you to come to a heart of repentance and know who God is if you don't know who God is. So, yeah, just keep going. I'm going to keep going. He's going to keep going. We're just going to keep going. We're going to run this race like we're going to finish and that's what matters. So, yeah, absolutely. Got to finish the race, not just run and stumble.
: But even another, just to add an encouragement there, even if you do something for just a season, maybe God was just calling you to lead to somebody else. I'm here because someone else was a streamer for a while. They're not a streamer anymore. And they needed to stream and encourage me to bring me in to what I'm doing, and I pray that God will bring them back into streaming because I can see their usefulness in that. But they're in a whole different situation in life right now where they're at. And maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't. But maybe they were only supposed to do it for a season so that I would be here. So that I could influence other people. So that I can have an impact.
: And their job is done.
: Yeah.
: You know, and you got to be willing, like I said, led by the spirit. You got to be willing to be led by God, led by his spirit, know where you're supposed to be and be there, okay? There's nothing worse than playing chess and you're missing a piece. It's nothing worse than that, okay? You can't play the game that way. All right? So know where you're at. Get before God and be there. Be there. Be in that place where it says, "Here I am, Lord. Send me."
: Be in that place. It's a great place to be in. I love it. And the will of God is the best place to be in. You see the smile on my face? It's not because I'm just that guy. No, it's I'm in the will of God and I know it. Like I have that reassurance that I'm in the will of God and that is amazing.
: Oh, so good, man. This has been a blessing, man. Totally love this conversation. I like, I have a ton of other questions I could have asked. Like they're running through my head. It's like, oh, I could ask about this and that and the other. But I don't want this to be, you know, another five-hour podcast, never-ending podcast. I've done one of those and that was a five-hour podcast with Assassinator Steph and Gunkk, and I'm like, I'm just going to leave them as the pinnacle, the five hour. I don't want to go past that again unless it's a panel discussion with multiple people. So what all games do you play? Are you all FPS or first-person shooter or do you play other styles too?
: Uh, so I focus on Battlefield 6 and Marvel Rivals right now. Those are my two mains. But I play a plethora of different games from MMOs to RPGs to all different things. That's why I love collabing with people because I get to step outside of the zone that I'm typically in. I have been playing Guild Wars more and Fortnite. Yes. I've been playing Fortnite a lot more because the community has been fun playing Fortnite with the community. So we've been playing Fortnite a lot more. But yeah, I love collabing with people because I just play them all. I've been gaming since I was five years old. I'm thirty-seven now, so I've seen games grow and the graphics change and all those different things. And I just like experiencing new games, new genres, and really, I don't know. I love seeing something that was created come to life on a screen. I just love it.
: So I'm mostly in the RPG realm, which is usually one player. So there's not as many that cross over, but like Baldur's Gate 3 is one of those.
: Yeah.
: Yeah, we'll have to find a time and figure something out where we can play something.
: Absolutely.
: As like, that's my next year goal. This year's goal is just continuing the podcast, revamping it for next year, and then figuring out what games can I actually play with other people that I'll enjoy and they'll enjoy. Which was supposed to be part of this podcast to begin with was you come on and introduce me to a game. It did not work because of the constraints of pulling that game up, using this computer, using it to do both the broadcast, the simulcast, and the game. And it was technical. It was just a fiasco. So that didn't work. So it's like, okay, I need to come back around to that original piece that I'm missing and figure out how can I collab games with people.
: Yeah, absolutely. I might not get to that till January to start thinking about it. But hey, if there's something that comes to mind and you're thinking, hey, could we collab just playing a game? DM me, let me know. Would love to do that. And start figuring out how I can do more of those things and building up the kingdom wherever I can.
: Absolutely. Yeah, that's awesome. Well, it was a pleasure. Thank you guys for having me at Church Digital. I truly appreciate y'all. The invitation was out there and I felt in my heart that I was like, "Hey, I can do that." And I'm glad I did. I'm glad I did. So thank you guys.
: Totally awesome. I usually, are you going to stay streaming?
: Uh, I am not. I've got things that I got to do before church tonight. And so, okay. Um, so if the person's streaming, we raid over to them. If you're not, I invite you to select somebody that we can do a double raid to.
: Absolutely. I'm all for that. Okay, let's see. Let's see who I have live right now. I follow so many different people. It's so hard to keep up with everybody now. Um, let's see. Seek Reborn. I don't know if you've heard of him before. Seek Reborn.
: Yeah, Seek Reborn. He's playing an old school game, Wizards 101. That game has been around for, I'm coming up with Seek Rebirth, not Reborn.
: Seek Rebirth. Yeah. Okay. I've had Seek Rebirth. Yeah.
: Oh, he's at a be right back screen, so we can't really go to him right now, per se. We can give it a minute and see if he comes back and then raid over, or he's been going for three hours.
: Yeah. I try to go down to the ones that don't have a lot of viewers, but I'm looking forward to definitely gaming with you and hanging with you a little bit more. Let's see. Yeah, I would love to say that come next year I'll be able to hang out in more people's streams, but I don't anticipate that that will be the case.
: I just, it's one of those things. I understand that completely because it's like I want to be in everybody's stream, but I just stream. I stream, but you know, it's like there you have the viewers and then you have the streamers. Well, I am one of those that stream. I lurk on some people's channels, but otherwise than that, if I'm not streaming, I'm probably sleeping at the time. You know, Wednesdays and Sundays are meant for family. I hang out with them and, you know, spend time with them.
: Yeah. Yeah. Well, having those boundaries is an important thing when you so that you don't do the let's work seven days a week.
: Now, exactly.
: If you're going to do seven days a week, you need to know the end date that that's going to happen. It cannot be indefinite. So my wife and I have both done that a couple of times where it's a two-month, a three-month window and we know the end date and we both go into it in agreement that yep, you're going to do that or I'm going to do that and here's where it starts and here's where it ends. But we're not doing this indefinitely. There is no work seven days a week and that doesn't mean that that's healthy. It just means if you have to, you need to know and you need to put other parameters in there around your faith in that time, too.
: Yeah.
: So that you're not just work, work, work, work, work. You work seven days. Well, where's your Sabbath going to be? Well, your Sabbath has to be half days here and there where you can fit them in. You still need Sabbath in there. You can't work.
: Absolutely. You got to have that rest.
: Yeah. You still got to have those. Okay. It doesn't look like he's coming back.
: Yeah.
: Coming back. Z Sah, we can go to Z Ser. You.
: Yeah.
: Unless you want to go to somebody that I know that's like brand new.
: Absolutely. Let's do it.
: Okay. All you had to do was say that. Let's do it. Well, the thing is, I like to get introduced to people I don't know.
: So, Matthew URG. Matthew URG. Okay. Yeah. He is, he has gone through our equipping digital missionaries. Skinny. I appreciate it. And he's uh, he's just getting started with um, hanging out and uh, doing streaming.
: So, he's he is uh, really really new. So, can you post that in Discord?
: Yeah. Let me let me copy it. What's a useless talent I have? I don't know. Wow, it copied the whole thing there. So, it's Matthew URG. Why did it copy everything? I don't even see what it copied.
: That's weird. Okay. So, uh, let me know when you're ready to start the raid.
: Uh, where'd you put it at?
: Here. Let me—
: Oh, there it is. I see it. Never mind.
: Okay, there I got it. I got it. All right, I am ready. All right, in three, two, one.
: We'll be close enough together.
: Yeah, don't have to be right on top of each other, but we'll both go over there.
: Thank you. Thank you again for being here. Thank you everyone else for hanging out. Um, it was a lot of fun.
: It was a blast. We had some tech issues to begin with. Such a surprise. Um, I haven't uh, streamed a podcast in a month and we had tech issues. Weird. I don't know how that happened.
: Yeah, the most odd ones, too. Like, it didn't make any sense what it was doing.
: That's—
: It's clearly something on your setup that not letting your uh, feature or something.
: Yeah.
: Yeah. Yeah. The virtual cam is uh, is being squashed for some reason. So, yeah.
: All right, everybody. Thank you. Thank you for being.
