Why Your Streaming Journey Doesn't Have to Be Lonely
Talking with Warrior of Light about the path to streaming on Twitch and the path he has helped make for those who will follow behind him. @blessingboat
: Mr. Welcome in. This is the second time. Hey, Temple Snail, welcome in friend. I had problems on Monday with issue. We have a different issue today.
: Now it's on your side, not my side, but it's involved in invested in there. Uh, we can just go if you want, Warrior.
: We're, you know, I'm good. I don't care. I mean, as long as they can hear me and you and we don't have a problem, that's good for me.
: I guess if people come into your chat and they can't hear, we'll just encourage them to come over here where they can hear and I can share the VOD with you later so you can post for all of your community.
: Yeah, that's fine. All right, so uh, we got a bunch of people in here. This is great. Glad to have you uh coming in and hanging out for the stream.
: Uh, the plan is to um talk about being a digital missionary uh and talk about what is going on in digital spaces. So uh, Warrior, I know you and I've known you for about three years, but why don't you just tell a little bit about yourself and then what led you into being in digital ministry? Uh, what was that kind of like journey for you?
: Yeah, it's an interesting journey nonetheless. Um, uh, I grew up in Minnesota. Um, all my life I've been there. Um, we moved to Honduras and, uh, the reason was because my parents were getting old, my mother and father-in-law were getting older. They needed help with the church and other ministries that they were doing here. And so we moved. And obviously when I moved, uh, had to find a new job and all the other fun stuff. Couldn't find anything here. So I started working with some friends in the US and we started just working on just different projects so I can make a living.
: And through all that whole process, um, I was involved with a thing that is no longer even available called Blab. And that was a way for you guys to blab back and forth, more business related, but we got into that. Um, and then I said, you know what? Well, no. I, I, I, I was watching my son watching Twitch. And I'm like, "What the heck is Twitch?" You're watching somebody play a video game. How boring is that? And he goes, "No, no, it's fun. You know, listen and watch." And I watched and I listened and saw who he was following and a lot of these guys were like, "They're not Christian. They're swearing. They're telling people, 'Oh, you can have sex before marriage.' All this other stuff. And I'm like, "No, you're not going to watch that." And but then I got interested in Twitch because I like video games.
: And I thought, well, what is going on here? And I was working with a friend of mine that we were actually going to create like a VR before VR even was popular, uh, a VR community for Christians. And we had a whole plan and everything was going well. And I thought, well, I better start, you know, interviewing, uh, streamers that actually are doing this on a regular basis.
: And I remember uh you know talking to Pastor Duce and I think I had an interview with uh um oh man I forgot his name, Eagle Garrett and some other you know bigger ones um just to get some information and uh we were building a really cool thing and then all of a sudden my uh my developer he said I can't do it anymore. I'm like why? He says I got a job offer that I have to take.
: And I go I get it. I get it. So then I'm stuck, you know, kind of like what am I gonna do? And then I thought, well, maybe I should be a streamer.
: And uh I started it out and I did horribly for about nine months. I was not an affiliate until nine months later. Um and then all of a sudden, two weeks after I became affiliate, God gave me this, I guess, vision saying, "Well, why can't we do like a raid train for Christians?" because I got introduced to another friend of mine that did raid train in a non-Christian environment and he invited me to it and I'm like, well, I don't know if I can bring in my people over there.
: I don't mind if people come in, but to raid out to somebody else who might be swearing or, you know, doing drugs or something like that. I'm not interested. So I said, hm. So I prayed about it and God gave me the vision of saying, well, let's try an event called Blessing Boat.
: And I got blessing actually from Pastor Ducen because he had a blessing bank and a lot and you know one of my good friends uh back in Minnesota he would always say you know if somebody asked him hey how are you? He says I'm blessed. What about you? You know and so it kind of got in my head and then I was thinking well we're on uh a Twitch stream and obviously that has to do with water.
: So it can blessing boat and uh a little bit different because obviously Twitch has the whole thing about raid train. You can't really have a blessing boat raid train but that's exactly what it is.
: Yeah. So I've been doing that what four years now. Yeah. I hadn't thought about that. If you would have gone in the direction of a blessing train uh right instead of a blessing they're probably get sued.
: Well maybe maybe I don't know. I mean if they let you have the name you're probably good. Yeah, maybe. I don't know. They haven't looked at me yet.
: Hey, Christian Ninja, welcome. Hey, welcome in. So, thinking about that, what when you were trying to do and make affiliate, what were some of the obstacles that you were facing?
: My audio is super quiet. Okay. Everything. Um, obviously I'm not in the US, so the internet was poor. It was horrible. I could do my job and my, you know, regular work, but trying to stream something was impossible.
: I had a very old uh computer, laptop, it was very cheap. And so I I mean, I had so much troubles and so many different angles. I mean, Shell's been there from the beginning and so has other people. And it it was a challenge because like I said, I I'm older, right?
: And I don't have a lot of people who are playing video games, you know? So when I invited them to come and watch my streams, they'd be like, you know, no, I'm not interested. I got more important things to do. Um, and so it was really, really difficult for me. I I couldn't even get my way for my son to even watch me.
: That's how bad it was. But, you know, they just didn't think it was worth my time, I guess. And, um, so it it was a struggle. I mean, like I said, it it took me nine months to go affiliate. And most people look at me like, why did it take so long?
: Then I look at it and I'm like, well, maybe that was God's plan because obviously nine months to birth in the human being. So, it's nine months to birth the ministry.
: Oh, that's a great analogy of of God birthing something in you that took time to prepare. And if you wouldn't have struggled, you you wouldn't have had that, hey, this is this is something other people might struggle with and and be able to to help do what what games were you streaming most when you got started?
: Mostly, well, at at first I was actually not Warrior of Light. I was actually pro-racing. So, that kind of basically told you what I did. Um, did a lot of racing games, but I could never really get an audience for some reason. I mean, racing is, you know, a smaller audience, but they're really loyal, but I just couldn't.
: Maybe because I sucked at it at first. I don't know. But I just didn't like the name after a while. And there was another company here uh where I live that had that name and I think there was a conflict or something that they didn't like.
: So I changed it. And uh after that I was kind of a variety streamer. You know I I did a lot of you know fishing with fishing planet but you know the challenge I had and and and I think this is the biggest reason I didn't go affiliate right away is I'd you know take eight hours on a Saturday and just fish. That's not a good thing to do for algorithms. I should only do one hour a day you know if that.
: Well, and I'm I'm imagining that the algorithm that puts you in front of people has changed since you started and until now. Uh they seem to always be evolving and changing to try to put you in front of new people or to change, you know, so that uh and and then the categories keep changing too. You know what you can and then and then there's been the development of tags that you can put on there. All of all of those kinds of things.
: star_fox22 just follow. Yeah, there's a lot a lot of change in the last four years, that's for sure. And we got more changes coming which is interesting. I know Twitch was talking about that just what this week or something that everybody's going to be able to be kind of an affiliate without becoming an affiliate.
: Oh, I have not seen that. What what was that? Well, basically you you are able to anybody that starts streaming can be able to offer like bits and subs and everything else like that.
: Oh, so you can monetize. You can monetize without without without being okay. Yeah. So that's that is coming. Oh, thanks for the follow. Um, hey Star Fox, thank you.
: It was it was just coming through and I'm like, okay. And I understand why they're doing it because I watched a video about it. You know, they're trying to make money, right? They look at all the streamers that are not doing well that don't have less than, you know, three people or more than three people coming in.
: There's a lot of them. So now they're saying, "Hey, why don't we just open this up to everybody? So we get money, we give them money, they'll be happy." You know, I think one of the reasons why they might is if I've if I have one person watching me and I run the Twitch ads, Twitch gets ad revenue even if the person with one viewer doesn't. So Samarella, welcome in. Saw your channel on the recommended and you're in.
: Yeah, absolutely. Uh, we got a few people jumping in. I don't know if that alert or that goal was on my side or on your side.
: Uh, yeah. I don't know either. I can't remember which one I had when people follow me. I'm like, I don't know what I had for alerts and I I don't know that I set goals on the the church digital.
: So, those that are are coming in going, you guys don't know what you're doing. No, I I I have not been the primary person streaming on the church digital. So, up until now, uh, Jeff Reed has been doing podcasts on here and we were doing a lot of things focused on gaming ministry within the the church digital and now I'm relaunching it again as I'm, you know, developing a gaming outpost for digital missionaries to hang out together and to be able to talk about things. So, that's why I've got Warrior on here with me talking about things, but I don't know what was set up, what wasn't.
: I've got it going. I've had it for two weeks. Uh there's lots of bugs in the system. Lots of well, it worked last time. Why doesn't it work this time? So, yep. It's always fun. Yeah. Um tell me about like not not for Blessing, but let's let's separate that from Blessing Boat from yourself as a streamer.
: So, let's let's talk about you, Warrior of Light. What's been a highlight for you as a streamer? Well, I think for me, because obviously I don't speak this language yet. I'm still learning it. Um, for me, it's just meeting people from all over the world that can speak English and just hang out. Um, obviously tell them about Jesus if they want to know about Jesus.
: I'm not afraid of the gospel, obviously. Um, but I'm not, you know, Bible thumping and telling people you need to accept Christ because I believe there's something about relationships that you have to build over time. But obviously pray for those people and make sure that, you know, God will follow up with them in some way, shape or form, which he will, you know, get them into a regular church or even a digital church or something that, you know, they can be fed by.
: But I think one thing that changed my, I guess, look on streaming and I was really close actually at before the beginning of this year to just quit streaming altogether, you know, because again we get so, you know, preoccupied by the numbers, right? We're like, "Oh, we don't have enough numbers." Oh, you know, we go to our friends' site and they got big, 30, 40 people. They're like, "Why, you know, why can't I have that type of thing?" And, uh, but I prayed about it and God said, "No, stay," and, uh, I did.
: But one thing that happened like two years ago, I think it was, there was a gentleman that was helping me with fishing. Uh, I think we're still doing Fishing Planet at the time. And he would really help me out. He knew exactly what I needed to do to get the bigger fish and get, you know, the tools and the, you know, reels and the rods and the different lures to get the right fish at the right time and at the right place location. So I loved him to death. And he came in one day and he's just like, "Man, I don't feel good." I go, "What do you mean?" He says, "I, uh, I just don't feel good and my stomach hurts and I, I, I, I don't know what's going on." I said, "What do you mean your stomach hurts?" He says, "Well, it's a big pain." I'm going, "You tell your mom to drive you to the hospital now." Like, why? I go, "No, you got a major pain. Something's going on. You need to go to the doctor now." And we prayed for him. Didn't hear from him for like two weeks.
: He finally comes up to me and he goes, "Wow." Um, I'm just really happy. I go, "Why?" He said, "Well, you told me to go to the hospital and I did. My mom didn't want to take me, but she did because she saw me in so much pain. He almost had his appendix burst. Yeah. You know, and so for that, when I heard that and he told me that, I was like, "Well, maybe I need to be here," you know? I mean, not saying that God wouldn't have rescued him with some other streamer, but it was nice to be able to, you know, identify that, you know, with another person, human being, especially a kid, you know. So, yeah. Uh, sorry, I'm just looking at chat there a second. Yep. I know. Chat gets crazy sometimes. Yeah. Uh, Samarella, we'll have to we'll have to continue that conversation, uh, over on Discord. I don't I don't think that's that's, uh, one that we want to talk about on stream.
: So, um, yeah, I say I I love those, uh, inter—I say moments where the Holy Spirit put you to be able to be connecting with someone. Do you know where that person was at in relationship to you around the globe? Yeah, he was in the US. Okay. Um, I know he moved from a couple places. I think he was in Georgia and then he went to New York. So I haven't seen him for a while though, so I don't know what happened to him after that.
: But yeah, well, you know, definitely on some level with that. I I just kind of think of, you know, the Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch. He came along for a particular moment in Philip's life and was not there on an ongoing basis. You know, I I like to call those a divine appointment that God had a divine appointment for you to be in that moment. And sometimes those divine appointments do develop into ongoing relationships and sometimes life change and and schedule conflicts, all those kinds of things.
: Um, I was just thinking something you said a little bit back is, um, you know, being able to people talk to people. Are you fluent in Spanish? Are you fluent in Spanish that you are able to go out and have conversations with anybody in the community that you want to? No, I wish. No, I'm learning it. I mean, uh, I should have known it by now. I mean, I've been here for many years. Uh, but I just, you know, my regular job is working English, you know, so it's like I don't get a time to practice with anybody and my family speaks in English, too. So that doesn't help either. Um, my mother and father-in-law run a church down here, so yes, I pick up Spanish when I'm in church, but a lot of things just I don't get, you know. Um, and because I'm older, I don't pick it up that quick anymore. Um, but you know, I've been doing Duolingo now for about a year. So, um, every single day, that's kind of a lesson I have to do so I don't lose my streak. And it's been almost a year now. So, hopefully this next year I'll be able to be able to communicate a little bit better. But, yeah. Yeah, it's my fault. It's my fault.
: Well, but so my wife, she does a lot of translating. So does my son. They hate it. Well, on some level, you're in a great spot to be able to be working on things with learning the language because you are immersed and can immerse and use what you are learning. I just was all of a sudden thinking, "Oh, wow. What a what a privilege it would be to be able to, uh, learn that while while you're there, but also like go online and talk English because if you can't talk English with people right next to you, you can still talk to, uh, people in English, uh, that you are connecting with online. Um, Ken Cowman, welcome in. Glad to have you here. So, you were asking, uh, about what do you believe? So, uh, that's why I was trying to clarify if you meant denomination. Uh, the Church Digital is interdenominational Christian. So, whether you are Methodist, reformed, I happen to be reformed, whether you're Baptist, whether you're independent, whether you're non-denominational, we just want to see Jesus elevated and praised. Uh, wherever, what, whatever. As long as you want to work with us, we're willing to work with you. Uh, we're willing to come alongside of you.
: And also, you don't have to be Christian to hang out here, okay? We're we're not here trying to push anything, shove anything down your throat right now. I'm just having a nice conversation talking about being a digital missionary and and that. And, uh, if and I have no command set up yet. I'm I'm trying to figure out how to do that because I can't so I can't share all the things. But if you go to the Church Digital, digital. Uh, you can, uh, learn more about the Church Digital. So let me type that in. The Church Digital. Uh, we also have a digital missionary conference coming up. But I'm going to talk about that more, uh, on Saturday when I'm on Blessing Boat. I want to talk about that, uh, specifically there. Today I want to talk more about what you're doing, Warrior.
: So yeah, when you, uh, you don't like to get caught up in denominations anyway. Good to hear. Yeah. Yeah. We're not we're not into our denomination is right and you're wrong. We are Christ is central. We're pursuing loving God and loving our neighbor as ourself. And along the way we can disagree. If we have good conversations around what we believe, we can do that so long as we give grace to everyone else of of where they believe.
: So, um, so Warrior, you were talking about you you struggled for nine months and then and then you had the maybe this is what I should do. Tell me how did it actually come about to start it? What were the struggles of getting it going of of of getting all of that and and I don't know the history well enough to know did you have the same length of time when you started or was it a shorter three hour or four hour raid train? How did how did that look when it got started? No, it is a funny story because, uh, I was, uh, connecting with a lot of Christian video game enthusiasts on Facebook and, uh, this one guy, um, he's Christian Ninja, knows him pretty well. Hunter, uh, he was actually, uh, doing that group and I talked to Jelly and I said, you know, maybe we should hook up with this guy. Um, I I think I have an idea. Um, maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. And he had his Discord group. I didn't even have a Discord at the time because I'm like like you, you're right. It's like I don't understand this thing. And, uh, I just said, "Why don't we talk to him?" And I had a conversation with him. I I liked what he was doing. And I said, "Yeah, I want to join." And then I was in his group for a little bit. And then like I said, he he introduced me to a guy, um, out of Belgium that was a wonderful singer and a Christian. And he introduced me to this idea of the raid train, but they were actually helping new affiliates become affiliates by doing this. And they I mean they filled up 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Oh wow. And I'm like, wow. You know, but there's a lot of people out there that wanted to become affiliated at that time. And so I was thinking, is there a way to make this as a Christian event? You know, and again, I prayed about it. And for whatever reason, I went to him and I said, "Hey, you know, I got an idea. What do you think about it?" He says, "That's a great idea. Why don't we try it?" And so it was like two weeks after I became an affiliate, we launched the boat.
: Oh. And because he already had the Discord, it was easy because he basically just said, "Hey, if you want to be part of this new event that we're trying out, come on out on board." And it was easily filled, you know. Um, so we didn't have any problems. Um, our average at that time of course was about two to three viewers per hour, but we did go eight hours. We we filled the whole eight hour, uh, thing. And sometimes we went I think it was like three months later or something, we had so many people wanting to get into it that we had like 12 hours, which I do not suggest doing that ever again.
: Well, I I think that the difference on the on the length of time is if you were there and needed to be there for the whole thing. That's the difference of, cuz we've talked about with the Church Digital, we we did, uh, a 12-hour, um, uh, what was it? Uh, Giving Tuesday stream. And we talked about next year we'd like to do it 24 hours. We're not expecting anyone to be there the full 24. The reason we want to do it 24 is so that we hit the whole globe. Nobody misses out on a chance to be there. So if if we did expand it to longer than that, that would be my suggestion is you have three different people that are host, uh, for eight hours and then they hand it off or you go four of them and they do six hours and and hand it off. That would be a a good way to look at that. Yeah, we've we've talked actually recently we've talked about something and I know I think I reviewed it with maybe you and Christian Ninja and some other people. You know, you guys have your own communities and why don't I just say, "Hey, this month it's your time. It's your community. You you're you are the Blessing Boat this month." Oh, I don't think I don't I don't think I'd heard that. Um, yeah. Yeah. I I we thought of it because we were going to white label it for a while and I'm like why do we want to white label it? Why don't we just say look if you are part of a Christian community, you are the owner of the Christian community and you want to have your own Blessing Boat. Let's just figure out what month you want. Okay. And it'd be easier for us to try to find people, you know, because you have your own community and stuff. So I mean I I for me I went through I I mean I'm in a 100 communities, right? Because I'm trying to meet people all the time and trying to figure out who wants to be part of Blessing Boat. There's a lot of work just trying to find the right people, you know. So, so we came up with this idea. So, we're going to be launching that soon. Actually, it was kind of a precursor to our four year which is coming up next month because we're going to be giving away even a stream a Steam Deck.
: Definitely have interviews and stuff like that. Yeah. Um, so, so I I love that. I I want to talk about what's what's coming up more because that's one of my questions. So, you've teased it. We'll come back to it. Um, what what did you see has been the, uh, the struggles of maintaining Blessing Boat for the past four years of of investing in it, spending time in it? What have been, you know, a a key struggle that you had to work through or two, uh, over the last four years? Oh, yeah.
: Just for whatever reason, we said, "Let's do it monthly." So every month I have to be committed to it, you know, every month, you know, and it's hard because, you know, my wife and her whole family is involved with ministry down here.
: So ministry comes first here, you know, people who have a need come first. And there's sometimes that even though I've scheduled the Blessing Boat and I and everybody knows this is what we're going to do this day, there's something that happens and I have to say I can't do it, you know, and we got to cancel it. But I only think we've only canceled it probably twice. Okay. And I did once where I had to actually go out of town and I tried to go out of town with IRL, but I don't know how well it went.
: I don't think it went well at all, but I think, you know, you just got to be committed to it, you know, and the time to be able to say to my family, hey, this is the day that I can't do anything with you guys. It sometimes happens and sometimes don't, you know. And the cool thing though is just recently my son is learning how to drive. So going forward in April or May, he might be driving and I don't have to do all the errands when Blessing Boat is going on. But people know, you know, I've been in and out of Blessing Boat and I have people monitoring things because obviously you want to be there and you want to monitor and you want to, you know, put stuff in chat and encourage people and stuff.
: But yeah, it's a commitment. I mean, eight hours a day or actually a little bit over because we prepare for it, you know, and try to find people and, you know, and plus I have my regular job. So it becomes a second job, but I love it because I, you know, I see the testimonials that came in and I'm like, "Okay, I got to keep on going." You know, want to do. Do you know a couple of testimonials you can share off the top of your head that have been really impactful?
: Well, yeah. I mean, you can go to our website, too, which is still getting done. Um, obviously you did one for me a while back. Um, you know, we got that whole testimonial section which hopefully is going to be better. And of course, we spelled your name wrong, which you know, I don't know what had happened there, but the video testimonials are good.
: I'm always looking for those from people who have been, you know, part of it, but you know, some of the ones that—oh, let me get my glasses on.
: And these are real people that, you know, got back to us with the testimonial. Um, you know, "What a great time, what a great way to spend time with great community to support and bless each other. Can't wait till next month." Um, I know Dino Dad had something in here. Uh, where is it? There it is. "Who was I before Blessing Boat? Nothing. A nobody streaming in obscurity. I was a sad man, but then Blessing Boat rescued me. After just one streaming event, I had followers and friends. Any believer that wants to be impact player for Christ will want to get on board Blessing Boat." But he's my sponsor. Yeah, he's really come on board and really doing a lot of cool things for me. You know, he gives me a hundred dollars every month to spend on, you know, we got the t-shirts that came out. Yeah, I got one of those, too.
: Yep. So we're always trying to improve things. I mean, like I said, I don't like our website. We're trying to work on that and hopefully it'll get better. But, you know, when you read all those testimonials, and this isn't all of them. I mean, hopefully we'll have a blog section on our new website and they'll have all the testimonials and stuff that people can read through and stuff, but it changes you because you're like, "Okay, well, people like it, so I better keep it going." And it's changing people's lives, you know? I mean, there's many, many people who weren't, you know, like yourself, right? You weren't an affiliate before we started and you got on Blessing Boat and then you did one Blessing Boat and all of a sudden, what a couple months later, you exploded, right?
: I don't know if I exploded. I don't know if I'd phrase it that way, but um I was on my way to affiliate, but it really was one of those things where I was hanging out in Christian community, looking for Christian community, trying to, you know, because I saw Christian streamers out there that were trying to be missionaries, whether they were pastors or not. They didn't have a lot of support. They didn't have a lot of people behind them.
: And so I was just trying to network them together. And then somewhere in there I came across Blessing Boat. And I still wasn't sure if I was going to be a streamer or not. I had just started doing sermon prep on Friday because I had people that I, you know, I'd hang out in ukulele for worship stream. I'd hang out in other people's stream. You were usually different time of day. I didn't hang out in yours often. I'd hang out in Blessing Boat.
: And people be like, "When are you gonna stream?" So I finally did once a week. That's not a way to build anything. So I think I had been streaming for I don't know, let's see, I started in August so September, October, November, December. So four months and then I was just one day a week I was streaming and then it was hey, um, I'm wondering about reading through the Bible in a year. Do you have any plans? I go, oh yeah, and then it was like, like you're talking about, God's like, hey, how about you do that on stream?
: I'm thinking, read through the Bible in a year on stream? Like, this is this is not what God's call—well, I guess it is what God's calling me to. This is not what I want to do. Um, so then I was on vacation like the first ten days of January. So I was like, I started behind with the plan to go live and stream reading through the Bible in a year.
: So I had just been one month into that plan when I did Blessing Boat and then turned around and then was affiliate that fast. So there was a lead-up, but it was, uh, okay, now I'm now I don't want to say I'm serious about it. Now I'm investing in myself as a streamer. And then it was all of a sudden boom, Blessing Boat just pushed me over to make it to affiliate. So it was fantastic to have that.
: Yeah, we had a lot of stories like that. That's for sure. And I think Miss Jelly Beans found you and he and I remember she's saying, "Hey, you got to you got to see this this guy named Fap Dapper Pastor." I'm like, "What? What? He's a pastor? Yeah." You know, so I'm like, "Okay." So I checked you out and I'm like, "Okay, I'm going to invite him." And that's how it kind of started.
: Yeah. Like I say, Miss Jelly Beans has been with me from pretty much the start. Also, when I said, "Yeah, I'm going to go and be, um, I'm going to start streaming, uh," she messaged me and said, um, "Can I mod for you?" I'm like, "Great. I don't I don't know how to recruit a mod. You want to you want to help? Uh, you're amazing. Thank you." Um, but I think that's part of what I love for me being in the digital space is connecting with people, investing in other people.
: I know you're talking about and and and maybe this isn't the view you have. So let me know if it's not, but you were talking about you're helping other people reach affiliate. You have no idea which one of those people that you help affiliate makes partner, makes a kingdom impact, makes a whole bunch. They they may end up not staying connected. Just because you help them reach affiliate doesn't mean they automatically stay connected. Uh, right. So do you have that view of, you know, it's an it's a long-term investment to help people make it to affiliate?
: Yeah. Yeah, I do. I mean, like I said, when we started out, you know, we were just hoping that we could help people. You know, we were trying to get that average up to three because that's what you need to have. At least that's one of the parts of becoming an affiliate. And so we reached that the first month and ever since that time it's been graduating up to I think the last statistics we took was like thirty to forty people per streamer per hour, you know, and I think that really helps, you know, um, and and yeah, I mean our next goal would be would love to be able to bring people to a partnership, you know, if they want to be, but I've had some flack too. Some people said, well, why are you forcing people to become an affiliate? I'm not forcing anybody. If they want to become an affiliate, they can become an affiliate. You know, it's just set up to be able to help those that maybe are just struggling.
: And, you know, we have built such a great community with the last four years that people are just coming in all the time and just encouraging people and when they stream, they come to their streams and they talk to them. I mean, it really is kind of cool to see how it has expanded over the years.
: Yeah. Uh, we have someone that just joined in asking what what Blessing Boat is. Do you want to take that or you want me to handle it?
: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Blessing Boat is a event that we do once a month. Um, we invite Christian, you know, streamers that basically want to reach out to their world and be able to become an affiliate if they want to become an affiliate. It's like a raid train. So every hour on the hour, everybody picks out a certain time slot. That hour, they stream, you know, whatever they want, but it's family-friendly kind of gaming. We don't like horror or anything really, you know, really bad. Um, and then we raid back to Blessing Boat.
: Now, we obviously give sponsorship a little bit of time, like less than five minutes, and then we go to the next streamer in line. So it's kind of a raid train all day long and family-friendly.
: Yeah. And um, it's this Saturday, by the way.
: Yep. It is Saturday. You say the time because I can never keep it straight. Nine a.m. to five p.m. Central Standard Time. Nine to five Central. I should just remember that. Working nine to five on a Saturday, but Central time.
: Central time. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, yeah. And that's a weird thought that you're forcing people to become affiliate. They have to volunteer, sign up, and qualify. That doesn't sound like forcing somebody to me. That's a weird definition of forcing.
: Yeah. I just had some conversations and I didn't get involved with them because I'm like, and somebody else who was part of Blessing Boat says no, that's not how it goes. So it was, you know, I didn't want to get involved with that because it just didn't make sense. So but you know, people, I I mean I've even had, and I'm not going to name the community of course, but I've had communities that don't even like the name.
: I'm like, man, how many times do you say when somebody sneezes, you know, bless you, you know, or something like that. What's wrong with a blessing? You know, yeah, I've I've run into that. I use bless a lot and I use, you know, talk about it and I have people like either that's a super religious thing or they don't have a concept of what it means or what do you mean to bless, you know, uh, but I'd rather have that as a problem to deal with explaining what do I mean by blessing? Uh, and talk about it the same way that you know you have songs in church and now well nobody knows what Ebenezer is or they think of Ebenezer Scrooge so we're going to take it out of the song and I'm like no do not do that. It is one of the most fabulous words in scripture. It is "Thus Far" is a stone of help and so the whole thing is thus far God has brought me, here's my stone of help. I place the marker down right here so every time I look back I, God brought me this far. It's like one of the most amazing markers.
: Like, you know what we would do with those now? Instead of a stone of help, it's a monument. We put a monument up for, you know, a war that we went through. We put a monument up for something successful.
: You know, we put a monument up to honor someone who passed away in front of a sports stadium. Whatever it is, we put up our stones of accomplishments of our own personal things. And this is the stone that God is being remembered for for what we've done. So, yeah, I say you don't like it. Okay, fine. But, yeah, there's always reasons for it, but that's okay. I mean, you do what you want to do, you do what God you feel that God's, you know, sharing with you and just keep on going, you know, no matter what what you run into and no matter what difficulties you come into.
: Have you kept track of how many total people have been on Blessing Boat? And I know it's evolved a little bit too where you bring now those that have been affiliates back in after. So it's open to those who aren't affiliate first to fill all the slots and then bringing in affiliates so that we can bring our audience over there and and and experience and know new streamers that come on before and after us. So I appreciate that aspect of it. Yeah, but do you know how many like first time people you've had throughout the years?
: Well, yeah. I mean, if you include obviously the affiliates that have filled in and not come back, um I think we're probably at over a hundred.
: Okay, that's pretty cool. Yeah, thinking about if you have well, how many are on a stream? Nine or eight? Eight. Well, just yeah, six. Six technically because it's me and you know, Dino Dad every time. Oh, right. Well, you know what? Tell me how you got connected with Dino Dad. How back how far back does Dino Dad? Because Dino Dad's been around since I uh really knew about it. So, was he there from the beginning or was that really early on? What was the connection with Dino Dad and how did he get involved? And actually, let's go give and give him a plug for for because he he is a big sponsor of uh Blessing Boat.
: Yeah, he he definitely is. Well, he's a pastor, too. He's a pastor in Iowa of all places. I grew up in Minnesota. I I was having some challenges with my wife and I went into uh um what do you call it? One of the discords and I just said here, you know, I I need to talk to somebody who's, you know, older than me that understands how long to be mirrored at what 32 years. And I said, I just need some advice, you know, and this one guy said, "Well, my dad's a pastor. He's out of Iowa. Is that okay?" And I'm like, "Oh, yeah. Let's talk." And we started talking. We hit it off right away. Found out he has a gaming, you know, video game store out in Iowa of all places. And called Decora Games. Um, and uh, he just we just latched on right away. You know, he learned more about me, I learned more about him. We became friends and I said, "Hey, I'm curious. Would you like to be part of Blessing Boat and stream?" He's like, "I don't know. Should I?" And I go, "Well, I don't know. I'll pray about it and see if you want." And then they came back to me and said, "Yeah, I'll stream." And that was kind of history after that. And then we started, you know, thinking about what can we do on the streams and, you know, can we can we put money towards the stream for prizes and stuff. I mean, we we used to give away just cash, you know, hey, you come in here and you get win $100, you know, and we thought a lot of people would come into it and, you know, register, but some people didn't because some people have this aversion, and I don't get I I think it's more on Twitch than anywhere else, but they got an aversion of giving their email addresses. Yet, they'll give their email addresses to anyone they want to run the web, but for some reason, gamers or whatever, they don't want to give their email addresses away to win something. We're not selling it. We never will sell it. Um, but we need that. We need that to be able to communicate to tell people when the next boat is, you know, other new, you know, events and stuff and they can always opt out. But it was just kind of funny how many people wouldn't do that even for $100, you know. So, we started changing it up and saying, "Okay, well, if you don't want to do it for 100, let's give four prizes away for 25, you know, or then we said, oh, why don't we give away free games?" So, I found a whole bunch of free games that we would give away. And then we started doing the t-shirts, you know, and then we thought, well, okay, what else can we do? And, you know, now the big thing with the uh Steam Deck. So, yeah, the Steam Deck is a is a big a big thing. I I already have one. Um, but or I should say I have a stream deck, but u you know, getting getting any of those kind of like peripheral kind of things like yeah. Uh I may have one, but I could get another one. I could put it to use. Uh I'm not going to turn that down. That, you know, a t-shirt a t-shirt. I already have one. If if I won the t-shirt again, I'll just say, "Give it to someone else who hasn't won spin again." You know, I don't need another t-shirt. Uh I've done that with a couple of games, too. Like, no, no, I don't need those games. I won't end up playing them. They'll sit on my computer. I I won't use it. Give it to someone uh else who can. But, uh you got tech equipment. I'm I'm I might have to be there for that one. I'm not always there. You're You know, that's one of the things you um Why did you pick Saturday? Was that a a any reason for that or?
: No, I just said that's usually the day that I'm kind of free, you know, because obviously Monday through Friday I'm working my job. Yeah. And I can't interfere with my job at all. Um I I have demands and I have metrics I got to meet every single time. Uh if I don't, I get fired and I'm not planning to get fired anytime soon. Um so I I said, "Well, I can't do it on Sunday because we're so busy with church. You know, we we are part of a church family. My mother and father-in-law owns a church here. So, we're very very busy during Sundays except Saturday, you know, Sunday afternoons and evening, but I'm like, "No, we want to do a a day event." I don't know how it actually came out on Saturday Saturday, but I think it was because when I talked to um Hunter, I said, "What day do you think we should do it on?" And we both agreed Saturday would probably be the best.
: Okay. Yeah. I just I just And I said, "What what what you know and I said, "What week of a Saturday, you know, of a month?" And we usually have actually, you know, he said the third Saturday is usually the best. And I'm like, okay, we'll keep it the third Saturday. And we kept it the third Saturday up until this year. Now we're at the second Saturday because my, you know, person who does the behind the scenes, the Tony, the doing the websites and the actual production. Um, he said third is horrible for me. So I'm like, okay, well, let's change it to second, see what happens. So yeah, I can say I I actually find my schedule is a little more open on the second and I've been trying to uh hang out a little more than the third was like know I got something going on. I'm I'm I'll start in the morning and I'll I'll throw the follow in and lurk and then I come back home and go who was on? I don't know. And uh All right. But yeah, everybody's schedule is different. That's for sure. Yeah, thanks for the follow. I appreciate it. There's another follower that came in earlier. No, can I I don't know how to do this, but can we can we put that uh uh link for decor games in here?
: Yeah, it was just in there. Oh, okay. Yeah, it's showing. Yeah, I did it. Oh, okay. Yeah, it's showing. I forgot where your chat. This is new. Yeah, that's okay. No, no, that's why I was saying if I put it in on mine like I was I was putting in the church digital, it didn't show up on yours. So, that's why I was asking Miss Jelly Beans to put it in. So then it showed up here. So if you type any links over there, it shows up on the church digital. We're good on that side. Um, okay. So let's let's shift back to uh we we teased a little bit about what's coming up and you got the four year anniversary celebration. Look towards that and then look beyond that. Like what are your your hopes in the next four years for blessing boat? So So what is what is in store for this year? And then like do you have hopes and dreams uh moving forward past that? And you teased a little bit about uh developing it in a new way.
: Yeah, I mean we got a lot of I mean I I've had a lot of plans but unfortunately you know my my good friend Tony is older and he has a lot of physical health problems and challenges. So the things that I want not are don't necessarily get done on a timely manner. Um, and I I I can't blame him. I don't know anything. I mean, I know some stuff like website stuff and and he gave me access to the back end, but I messed it up once and he says, "I'm not going to let you do it again." I don't even know how I messed it up, but I did. And the whole website was good, but then when you went to the mobile, it was horrible. Um, but what we're planning to do is we're we're planning actually, and this is what's taken forever, is trying to integrate our uh database within our website. So, we're going to be able to bring in all the blogs and all the the people that have been in Blessing Boat in the past, you know, few years. All that information will be available to anybody to get to know who they are. I'm I'm trying to make it so there's actually a schedule kind of like uh a cable television program, you know, where you see the times and the dates with everybody that has been in Blessing Boat. That's kind of a benefit that we're giving them. Uh just by being part of Blessing Boat. Um you know, trying to get more maybe in the merchant side. If you guys have merchants, we can hook it up into one system so you guys can sell, you know, products and merchants and stuff inside of our store, so to speak. Um, so you don't have to use, you know, what's out there unless you want to. I don't know how to integrate that type of stuff, but and then, you know, the community aspect of it, going to, you know, communities and Discord and saying, "Look, you want to have a month for just blessing boat for your people. It'll be just your people. You find them, we'll do the show." And then we're also thinking of, well, our channel, it's funny because we got a lot of followers. We got a lot of viewers that come in during the show, but we're not an affiliate yet, right? So we can't necessarily ask anything. We're trying to become a nonprofit and so then that we, you know, more and more people will donate. The four year I'm going out on a limb and I had Wordy Girl and some other people help me with is I'm going out to all as many Baptist churches as I can right now. And I got their email addresses and I'm going to send them information about our event and talk to the hopefully the pastors. They're going to like it. They're going to say, "Oh yeah, you know, my kid plays video games. Oh yeah, my kids on Twitch, you know, and hopefully get more than just the Twitch environment people, you know, who know about it, but get other things. We're going to do more socials. We, you know, we're trying to do the Simocast on, you know, YouTube and all the other ones, too. So, we got a lot of plans. Um, e even our our channel, we were thinking of, you know, since we got so much content, we can actually run that content on Twitch on the weekends that we're not actually on the boat and we can do it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So, that means it'll just keep on getting more and more people involved. So, I Yeah, a lot of different things. Yeah. Um, I I I don't know about the 24/7 if that's a a good plan or not because then people that are looking for Blessing Boat uh are going to miss when it's
: The Saturday when it's actually live. I'm I don't know if that's true or not. I'm just wondering, but I I do know for myself and other people I've talked to, usually when there's a rerun of a show, they don't always show up.
: But if you did it as a here's highlights uh that you're doing of years past and just ran it on a Saturday when Blessing Boat was happening, then if I don't remember what week it is and I go show up, you could just have it. It's the live is next week. Here's a rerun from highlights that and and I think we and I think we have to do that.
: We have to say pre-recorded. I don't think you can say live, you know. Oh, no. You you do need to say that. But I I do know uh people do sometimes have way lower uh you know unless you're a supporter like the people who bet on blessing vote will probably be there so the number will be high enough that new people could come and explore it. Uh but I don't know if that would be true if you ran it 24/7 but I could be wrong.
: I don't know. Yeah. And it's only weekends. You can only do that through TW. I mean you know like uh Bob Ross he has that on the weekends you know and people go there all the time. It's just what recordings of when he was alive doing paintings and stuff, you know, but somebody has to probably be monitoring the chat because I don't know how else he would do it.
: But, you know, we have enough content that we could probably pull it off, but we don't know. We're just kind of experimenting with it.
: But I think the biggest change that Twitch has now that we can do multicasting and multistreaming, you know, we've done that, but we've got also in trouble because we did it in YouTube and somebody had, you know, uh, silenced the copyrighted music on Twitch. We can't silence the copyright music on YouTube until recently, right? OBS now has a way to do that. So, we're trying to experiment with that and see if that's going to work because we want to be out in many different channels.
: The only thing is is you have to interact within Twitch, you know. Um although nowadays you can get chat from other places too. The problem is is you get multiple chats, you don't know where they're coming from, you know. So if it's coming from YouTube, you know, how do you know? Yeah, it depends on what you're using. There are some that just like right now we we can see who's chatting from whose channel. They'll do the same thing uh with which platform are people chatting on. You can get some some things that are set up for that.
: But yeah, you definitely because no one else can see it. Yeah. Only those in YouTube can see YouTube and those in Twitch can see Twitch. So there's not really a combined chat, right? And then I think there was also rules around putting the chat on stream if you are from other platforms.
: Yeah. But you definitely like like uh Leie is saying, you definitely you definitely want mods even if to engage with people if you're doing a rebroadcast so that when someone comes in and they can come in and go, you know, here's new chat that's going on, you know.
: Well, one of the things we're adding to our website, too, and I know lots a lot of people hate this. some people, I shouldn't say a lot, but I'm a good friend of mine has created an AI program that's just phenomenal. And um another friend of mine created another AI program that's a AI chatbot. So, we're going to be adding a chatbot on our website.
: So, then people can ask questions and the questions will be answered. You know, they don't have to actually get a hold of me by email or by Discord.
: Yeah, I think that's just going to become more and more of an integrated thing. And I know some people do not care for AI, which by the way, I'm trying to think, is it tomorrow? No, it's next Thursday. Uh, the Church Digital is going to be having a conversation about doing AI and using AI in ministry next next Thursday.
: So, you'd have to go to the Church Digital and look at the schedule. I think it's Thursday afternoon, but but I may I may actually be here streaming while that conversation's happening over there.
: So, hey, MC Wolfcat just popping by to say hello off to bed. Have a blessed stream. Thank you, MC. Good to see you. Appreciate the support.
: Nice to see you. I know Chov's here. Lesley for short. There's some people I don't know, but nice to see you guys. Yeah. Well, that's a couple follows, which I appreciate.
: Yeah. Well, that's that's one of the I think Well, and it's taken me a while to get here. uh to to saying I'm ready to do collab streams and I'm ready to hang out and do other cuz I I needed to feel confident myself in in my abil and I'm having tech issues every time I'm doing it. So, uh or or the person with me is having tech issues. It's it's all good. We're still learning. We're still figuring out there's you know I I love the I love the phrase if you're not having tech issues are you a real streamer, you know?
: Right. Exactly. So, um, I don't know if all of the the partners say that anymore or not, but all of all of us affiliating around there, you know, we're we're we're we're fine with that phrase.
: So that just sounds really exciting of of of looking forward into um you know expanding some things uh giving some more uh well thinking about this like the number of Christian communities that I've seen develop over the last 3 four years it's just like continuously growing.
: Uh yeah, when when I first started and and was trying to look for people, there were only like two or three or four people that were using Christian in their name or pastor in their name. There weren't many on Twitch doing that at all. And so, yeah, I remember trying to find people too and I I remember going to well Twitter at the time, not X, but uh finding those people and they said they were Christian and I would follow them and stuff.
: So, that was a good thing. But yeah, having a Christian tag now, it's a lot easier. But but you got to be careful because some people are doing that just to provoke you and to get you in there as a Christian to basically argue with you that Christianity is not real. Christianity is not a real thing. You know, God is not real and stuff. So, you got to be careful with that tag. Um, I think we as Christians, you know, I was debating this the other day. Should I should I put a tag that says family friendly and Christian or just leave Christian out? You know, if I'm trying to reach out to the lost, I obviously want to be family friendly.
: But the problem with me is that I have the blessing boat, right? And so I'm trying to find new Christian, you know, streamers. So it doesn't work that well for me, you know?
: So I say that just brings up a great point. I think that question is answered individually by everybody. So you're talking and I think you made a great example of how you process through that. I'm trying to reach new people to bring them to blessing boat. If I do not put Christian in there, it's going to be harder to find those people.
: U if if I if I leave it out on familyfriendly, I may grow my own stream, but that doesn't mean that you'd be blow growing blessing boat, but you'd reach people farther away from Jesus rather than reaching Christians. It's it's um yeah it's it's it goes it goes in both directions there and I think everyone needs to process through that of what is their stream's focus who is the person they're trying to reach what is the best decision for them on to do that and not do that uh on well the church digital here we we're we're a digital missionary sending agency we want people to know we are trying to help equip the church We are here to help you make disciples.
: So, are we going to reach people that are not Christian that are, you know, maybe they grew up Christian, they've left the faith or whatever, or or people that are just curious? Sure. Absolutely. We're going to reach those people, but that's not our target, you know. So, we we've been trying to focus on and I I really love our focus right now. I'm super excited about where we are. And we've got um a a missionary conference coming up April 2nd. If you want to be a digital missionary, it is missionary.digital and you can go sign up for that.
: And by the way, uh sign up even if you can't be there, if it's at a time you're not because you'll be able to get the VODs later. If you don't sign up, you'll never be able to see the VODs. Uh and there's so much stuff going on. I'll talk more about that on Saturday.
: But just teasing that about things coming up and how we're looking at things and what we're doing uh for those. But as far as Looks Go ahead.
: Pretty awesome. Yeah. No, I I you know, obviously Jeff talked to me and we had a conversation about it. Oh, that's right. Aren't you doing a breakout? Talk about that. I'm doing a breakout. I have no idea what the breakout is. I mean, I know what a breakout is. I've been to, you know, events, you know, in the real world, not the digital world, per se.
: But it it looks kind of interesting because my breakout, I guess, is room N or something like that. And then people will be able to come in from the main and be able to, you know, I guess I I'd be able to talk to them about Blessing Boat and ask any questions or whatever. So, it'll be interesting. But yeah, they they got a lot of stuff going on right now and more and more is being added.
: So, I'm definitely looking forward to it. I might have to take the day off of work, so we'll see. Yeah. Yeah, you might. You know what? If you can, I would just suggest go ahead and do that because once you get there, you're going to want to hang out and watch everything else that's going on and be in the conversations and all of those things.
: Yeah. And there was a whole brand new uh update on the website today. So, I actually had it up on my channel and I was like, "Hey, wait. All of the speakers are gone. Everything below here is gone." And it's been updated and there's been more people added. and the breakout sessions are listed now.
: Uh it's it's just like every day there's something new being added to it. Um and Jeff was teasing about it. So you can go check it check that out at our podcast. Uh Jeff was just teasing that out today. He'll be doing more teasing throughout the next couple of weeks as new things evolve and and come out about that.
: It's it's just super exciting. Um, the other thing too, uh, if you can sign up, even if you can't make it, we're trying to prove, uh, to to some sponsors that this is a viable thing, that people want this, that they want to come check it out. So, our goal is to get to a thousand people to sign up. And we're doing this in a one-month period of time. Like, we like to just have impossible goals. Like, we want a thousand people signing up for the conference. The conference is free. The the sponsors are paying. so that we can do it free.
: Uh it's it does cost money to put on all of this to do all the tech stuff to bring in all of the all of the the guests who are speaking. Uh but we're giving it to you for free. So please sign up. Please understand that the success of this one will help us be able to do more in the future.
: And boy, we've got some plans for other ones coming up in the future. Yeah. What I like it too is you guys are addressing VR. you know that you'll be able to do V VR type of hangouts. So, I'm looking forward to that, too. And I I'm assuming you don't need a headset. You can basically just be in a virtual room. I don't I don't know fully all the details on that. I know it's going to be in spatial and I'm not as familiar with spatial as I am other places, but I think you're right.
: I think if you choose the VR, you can just watch it on your computer even without a VR headset. Uh, I'm I'm going to be one of the hosts in VR side.
: So I'm going to be in the VR side because I have a VR set. And so I'm one of the minorities in the church digital that knows VR enough and it's like I've only been doing VR for six months.
: I feel like really bad as far as tech goes. In fact, I've done pulpit supply in VR three times now, and every time I have a different tech problem that happens.
: So the first time I was in the middle of preaching and I all of a sudden floated up into the sky and I couldn't get down. It's like, what do I do with this? Somebody had to tackle me and pull me to the ground and rescue me from my misery of being up there.
: And then I had a mic wouldn't connect. Like we were having problems earlier. Couldn't get it. So I switched from one computer to another. It's like the service is starting, so I'm switching to one computer to another. And then when I get there, I go in and preach.
: And then this past time that I did, like the controller on my arm wasn't showing up that I was using. But it was working until they started to do the worship song and then it stopped and I was stuck in place and couldn't go anywhere.
: So I had to reboot everything again. It's like, okay, I'm gonna be the host. I don't know what problems I'm going to have, but we need a backup, somebody to just step in and do whatever.
: But you've run into those too, those tech things when you're doing Blessing Boat with the raiding and then can't raid and then everybody's showing back up. We all know they happen. It's just an opportunity to give grace when it happens to people and realize we're all doing our best.
: We're all trying to serve God with where we're at and what he's given us. And yeah, it's just fun to see what God's up to.
: Well, you know, I was thinking too, at least on the VR side, how are you guys? I mean, I don't know how this other system works, but I'm assuming obviously you're not streaming it live, so you don't have to worry about having the chat inside of your helmet or does it automatically go in there?
: Oh, the in VR space you know it will be me talking to and I can hear people that are next to me be able to talk, right? I don't know how they're setting it up for the event. So for instance, when I've gone to VR places and I'm in the VR space, you can microphone someone or not microphone someone.
: So you can do it either proximity or you can do it by microphone and stage. I don't know which way they're setting it up. My guess is that the stage part will be everybody is muted except the speaker and if you're watching it on your computer instead, you'd be able to see it and hear it.
: And then there'll be breakout sessions where you'll hear everybody talking and everybody's mic is turned on. So that part I don't know how that would work on the computer side of things. I'm not quite clear, but all right. That's all right.
: No, I mean because even when I tried to do VR, you know, on this side, just streaming, there's a lot even with a VR game, it's really difficult because if you don't have like a Steam application, you have to actually go to the application first, find your game in Steam, and then bring it in.
: But the problem is that the chat that's usually on Twitch, you can't see. So you got to bring that also inside of the helmet.
: Oh yeah. No, I can't. I don't know how to bring the chat into the helmet to see. I don't see the chat that's going on. I'm just inside and I can hear.
: So from the standpoint of being able to see if someone's in the chat. Well, we're not going to be putting it on Twitch, so I don't know in Spatial if there is a chat or not. I don't know how that works necessarily from that side of it.
: I did do Spatial when the Lucan conference was going on just to check it out a few times. But I more watched the Lucan conference from the live feed than I hung out in the because the VR wasn't live.
: It was just other things that you could go in and do and hang out in the VR space.
: Sure. Yeah. Well, VR is definitely, you know, a lot of people say it's dying and maybe it is, but I think, you know, a lot of businesses, organizations are using VR to have that virtual experience. And I think it's pretty cool what's going on in the VR space.
: Even though it may be dying, there's still a lot of people that are really, you know, I mean, there's companies that are developing glasses, right, that actually help companies with like inventory or whatever that are actually.
: Yeah. I mean, I saw it actually. I was calling because I called in New York and this company I ran into all of a sudden I look at their website I'm like this is all AR. This is AR glasses. This is cool, you know.
: Yeah. Well, let me let me just welcome in Raiders. Welcome in. I'm watching you people. Hey Raider, thank you for coming in with the raid. That's so awesome that you chose to come over here.
: I'm watching you people is one of my mods. Fantastic. I love her. Shell 2023, welcome in Luces. Good to see you, another one of my mods. Good to have you guys coming over and hanging out and checking in here.
: I appreciate you guys both and all of you coming in, all you raiders. Thank you for coming in. We're just chatting with Warrior of Light and talking about Blessing Boat and what that is is a once a month raid train going from one streamer to the next trying to help people make affiliate and it will be this Saturday from 9:00 to 5 Central Time.
: See, I got it now. 9:00 to 5 Central. 9:00 to 5 Central. And the church digital, we will be on there from 11 to 1 Central Time. So yes, absolutely, and there I'll be talking more about what I haven't talked about yet so much here.
: And that's kind of like I love how you're talking about exploring and setting up new things and trying new things. I love the idea of experimenting with new things in digital spaces.
: Have you been experimenting with anything new on your own personal stream that you're trying things out over there? Because we've been talking Blessing Boat. Let's talk about Warrior of Light for a minute.
: And Miss Jelly Beans, if you can get a shout out for Warrior of Light, you know, I don't know if you can shout out to him or not, but then people over on my side of things will be able to give him a follow if they're not following already.
: Yeah. No, I try things. You know, right now I'm kind of hooked. It's a funny story. I used to actually play Call of the Wild, the fishing one, the Angler, and I loved it.
: Especially because I was able to connect with the Discord and find people who knew what the heck they were doing, and they would find these legendaries, they're called, and they're like these big fish that are almost impossible to catch unless you know what you're doing.
: And but then the company decided not to develop anything new. Oh. So unfortunately, by doing so, we have now whoops. I'm sorry. The Frosty Tools is going on my side. It's really loud.
: Because Jelly did a shout out for me on my channel. Yeah. Oh, so you're getting the alert and promo thing. Okay. Okay. Yeah, I'm getting the video as well. I did not know you were going to get a video. Sorry about that.
: No, that's okay. I think Jelly was supposed to put it on your side, not mine. For the shout out, but no. Well, I don't have any alerts. So oh, that's true. Okay, then she has to do it here.
: What I was saying though is I just got so involved with that and of course the developers not developing new and I'm like so now I'm hooked on American Truck Simulator. Okay. So I'm traveling all over the United States.
: Well, not all over. You got to buy DLCs, but I bought a whole bunch of DLCs recently, which I probably shouldn't have, but I did because they're on sale. So I go from California all the way to the East Coast.
: Not all the way to the East Coast. You only get to Minnesota. Actually, they haven't expanded, but they are going to get into Illinois now. But anyways, that's what I'm doing.
: I'm trying to figure out, you know, just for the fun of it, I'm basically going to the what do you call it? The where you weigh your truck. Oh yeah. Yeah. The weigh station. The weigh stations. Yes.
: And there's a lot of them in the game. And so I try to basically make it as a fun game for my audience and say, "Look, here's what we have. We have soybeans in the back. You guess how many pounds this thing is once we go on there."
: And I'm trying to make little clips and put it on TikTok and stuff. I don't know if it's going to work or if it's going to go viral. I don't think it will, but it might.
: And then I am trying to figure out how to actually do VR with the truck simulator. And okay, it's going to be interesting. And then I'm also part of a Christian group that just started or I just heard about that does racing and we race every Saturday night and we use a set of Corsa for that and that's you know that's a real racing kind of simulator.
: It's not like arcade so to get used to that is a lot of work and a lot of fun though. I don't have a wheel or anything like that. I'm using controller but those are the kind of things that I'm doing on my stream, you know, and of course talking about Blessing Boat.
: Tuesday nights now I'm doing Bible study through a study called Foundations for Christ or Foundations of the Christian Faith so I just started that. So yeah, very cool, very cool.
: Any well, I'm experimenting on my stream right now so I'm connected with because I like connecting all over the. And it's hard to stay connected with everybody, but I'm connected with another group of streamers, Reach Conference, and they're doing a 90-day workout challenge.
: Well, the two times that were available, one was at the beginning or in the middle of my like the very beginning of my stream going into it and then the second one was well when I get done with stream and sometimes I go long so it'd be into this, you know, the end of my stream or I'd have to cut the stream short and then I was like, oh, I got, you know, other things going on.
: So I thought, well, I'm going to pick the early time. I'll just make it part of my stream and I'll stream working out. We'll try it for two weeks. If nobody shows up, nobody likes it, I'll quit doing it.
: But then the guy that was leading it got sick. So the first time got cancelled. I was like, "Okay, so am I going to stream it at the other time instead?" Actually turned out it was a good thing because I was so winded from the first day.
: I was like I could not stream afterwards. I would have been like I would have been like here huffing and puffing trying to read the Gospel of Matthew. And so Jesus said, and so if you want to go see that, there's clips out there.
: And I'm there'll be more. There'll be more, but yeah, I still haven't figured out fully the making clips and trying to draw other people over to my Twitch stream from others, but I'm getting followers in other places as well.
: So I love that you're experimenting with things and trying it, seeing if. Well, and you know what? I never know what's going to go viral, you know, and there's plenty of people that are YouTube streamers that the thing that they're known for was a one-off stream that was not the main thing they were doing and it caught fire and now that's what they do, you know, that kind of a thing.
: So I don't know. You know, like we were talking before, I think I'm more invested in watching and building up other people that are going to be around after I'm not here than if I ever end up being partner, you know? I'd rather help two or three other people make it to partner than me make it to partner. So, right. Yeah. There's a lot.
: I mean, like I said, when we started, you know, Blessing Boat too, my whole goal was to be the light in the darkness, right? Just one light. But then we light other lights or other candles of other Christians and it just grows and grows and grows. And obviously, light will always take away darkness, right? Darkness can't take away light. But the more light you have in Twitch, the better it is. So I've always said, you know, how many Christians can we get to go streaming? And when I looked at the numbers, I mean, you know the numbers, right? I mean, there's like what, almost 3.5 billion gamers out there.
: Yeah, right. And Twitch is, you know, having about, and it's probably more now. I didn't look at the latest numbers, but 7 million streamers per month, you know, are streaming. I'm like, what if Christians would only take 1% of that? You know, that's still 70,000 people that are Christians that are reaching out to other people. And I think that's huge. And I've always wanted to see that and I don't know if it'll ever become, because even 1% is a lot. You know, I added up the Christians, like you said, there's more and more Christians that are on stream, which I've seen because obviously I've been here for four years too. Um, but there's still not enough, right? There's just still not enough around the world. And so if we ever can get up to 1%, that would be amazing.
: Yeah. I think on some level I've heard 11% is the tipping point of being able to start towards saturation. Is you need to have 11%? But I might be wrong on that. You know, people throw stats out and you don't know, is there science behind it or not? You know, are they just making it up? Are they just giving their best guess? But um, so just thinking about, you're just talking about light. Where and how did you come up with your streamer name, Warrior of Light?
: Oh, that's a good story. Good. Um, in the 80s, now I'm really dating myself. There used to be, well, okay, back in the 80s, there used to be a band, and most people may know it. I know Chovy if he's here. He knows them. Uh, called Stryper. Yeah. And it was a Christian heavy metal band and it was the first band I ever went to and I loved it. I was just like, "This band is cool." And I started listening to a lot of Christian rock bands, uh, you know, from White Cross and Deon Cross to Baron Cross to all the other crosses out there. White Church, White Church, and, you know, Audio Adrenaline, and, you know, it went on and on and on and I loved it. And uh, I was like, okay, the music, the Christian music scene is changing, right? Because people are not afraid of the gospel and they're willing to go out there. And so that was a ministry in itself. And I ran into a band out of uh, England. It was called Force Three and they actually had a song called Warrior of Light. Okay. And I listened to it and I was like, "This is so cool. I love this." And this was back in the 80s, right? And so when I was trying to think of another name, I was like, what name can I have besides Pro Racing? What name can I have that has meaning, you know? Yeah. And all of a sudden, I thought Warrior of Light. That's the perfect thing. But then I realized, wait a minute, if I go Warrior of Light and don't have the, you know, the um, hyphenations. Yeah. Or the what are they called? Underscore, the underscore, it's gonna look like Warrior O Flight. I'm like, that's not right. But I tried to get that name and it was taken by somebody who's not doing anything with it, you know. And then I thought, what am I going to do? Warrior of Light, Warrior of Light. And then all of a sudden I talked to Hunter. He says, "Why don't you add 777 to it?" I went, "Oh!" And then add, you know, the hyphenation or whatever underscore, and I didn't want the underscore but I had to, otherwise it would just run into each other.
: Yeah. And then it just came that way. I said, "Well, okay. I'm a Warrior of Light. You know, I hope other people are Warriors of Light. You know, I'm not living the Christian life just on Sundays, right? I'm living Christian life every day of the week. And that's why I chose the 777." And people say, "Why are you using 777?" Well, it's God's number, you know, and man's number is 666, you know. So um, it works. Um, and that's kind of how I came up with the name. That's cool. That's cool. I knew you'd like Stryper, but I didn't know of the other band there, and I didn't know of the song name uh, that that was connected there. That's pretty cool. Um, yeah, I tried to play it on my stream once, but I got a copyright strike, so I got to be careful.
: Yeah, I had it for a while. Yeah. Well, that's where, you know, I've got a, well, we were talking about blessed earlier and one of my favorite songs is Molly Music. I don't know if you know Molly Music. Um, it's uh, it's a guy and anyway, uh, so it's kind of a more towards, I don't know what the vein you'd call it, but hip-hop towards reggae kind of a vibe, but definitely in there. And it's, "Anybody in here blessed? I'm blessed. Anybody in here? I'm going to go. I'm going to see. I don't know if it's going to work cuz I'm on my other stream. I don't know if it's going to work, but we'll see if it plays. If you can hear it, let me know. You can't hear it. You can't hear it. Okay. It's, yeah, it's not crossing over. Anyway, my stream probably can hear it. I hope. Looks like it's playing on there. Anyway, uh, you'll have to go check that song out. It's really cool. Uh, "Pull up in an Uber, Hallelujah. Any kind of music that'll move you." You know, it's just like, kind of just like he's just going through his day and like everything that's going on, he just keeps saying, "Anybody in here blessed?" Like you're just, you know, you know, holler at your people. "Anybody in here? I'm blessed." It's like, you know, it's just a, it's just a fun song. And I love any song that's like gratitude and blessing and you know, like those songs, thanksgiving, gratitude, blessing. There are not enough songs in that genre. And so this is like just, you know, a motif over on my channel is, is the "Are you blessed?" and Loose is helping out with the "I'm blessed" uh, emotes there. Uh, and Donnie saying, yeah, we can hear you. Sorry you couldn't hear me over on your side. Uh, uh, probably that would be, if I was sharing the audio over with you, would be able to, then we'd have a huge problem with the double loop. But yeah, we don't need any more challenges. All right. Um, so I think those are most of all the things I was trying to think about and that I wanted to ask you about yourself and about uh, Blessing Boat. Uh, and you talked a little bit about games. I, so if there's a game I should play, what game would you suggest that I go play?
: Well, no, like I said, I'm addicted to this trucking thing because the cool thing is is you can create a convoy. Okay. So other people can join you, you know, other streamers or other people. And uh, we've had convoys and it's kind of fun because you hang out with each other. So you can have the same jobs and you can go all over the country just, you know, running a truck and you can, you know, I got the easy settings, right, where it's automatic, but you can actually get it more complicated where you actually have to set the actual, you know, shifting and all this other stuff. So there's a lot of things you can do with it. But I think what I like it is because it's family-friendly, right? There's no, there's no storyline where people are swearing or doing anything bad, unless of course you're hooking up with people like that in your stream. Um, but it's fun. It's just, you know, I think it's fun because it's not necessarily delivering the product from one thing to next, but you have to do it in a certain time period. And we got most of the stuff turned off. Like, if you really wanted to be a trucker, you would turn on the police, you would turn on the infractions, you know, red light, you can't go to a stop sign, you can't do any of those things. I allow that to happen because I need to get to my destination and I like racing. So it's kind of fun racing a big truck until you accidentally go around a corner and hit a police cruiser and go, "Oh no, what did I do? I just damaged my truck." So you're basically doing Cannonball Run with trucks. You're doing Cannonball Run with trucks here. Yeah. Okay. And anybody old enough to know that, you know, in the chat.
: Yep. Yeah. And you know, and the challenge in the whole game is actually the parking of it, right? Oh, okay. You got to back that truck up into the certain areas and some areas are very complicated. But you get better as you go, you know, and it's just, it's addicting. I mean, I didn't think I would like it. And I'm just kind of, that's all my go-to game now. Okay. Yeah. I've never thought of doing truck simulator. I mean, there's a lot of simulators out there and some of them I laugh at. I watch some friends of mine play simulators like uh, North Hill Live plays Let's Make Maple Syrup and I'm like, I'm working on it right now. Um, I don't, I don't, I don't need the, I don't need the simulator. And someone else is doing powerwash simulator. And my wife is saying, "You didn't powerwash the deck. It needs to be powerwashed." I'm like, I don't need a simulator. I go do these things in real life. Or even the combine simulator. It's like, oh, that's fun. I've actually ridden in combines. Oh yeah. I've actually driven a combine. So, you know, it's like, uh, but I haven't driven a truck. So, and then you were saying they have it in VR. They have it in VR. I might, oh, that's the thing that's going to be tempting is, would that be, how much fun would that be in VR to uh, to go do that?
: I still am not fully into the VR. I think I'm going to like AR better as that gets, you know, better. But, you know, we were talking about why VR isn't so big and why it hasn't spread. And I think it's nobody has hit it yet. The same way that when phones were coming out and there weren't that much going on in phones and all of a sudden iPhone comes out and the smartphone was a thing. I mean, there were phones before that, but the smartphone really wasn't it until that hit. And nobody's decided on what platform, you know, yet. There's a platform that comes up, another one comes along. I don't know if Meta Quest is going to be it. Apple's got one. Uh, and then different places are shutting down within there. So I don't know. Right. Yeah, it's, I think it's just the entry fee is a little high. Yeah, it's cumbersome, you know. It's cumbersome because, hold on. Luca said I can't uh, oh, they can't hear me for some reason. No, she said, "Warrior, in case you didn't know, but in your stream when you talk there's an echo." When Flat Top Cop text there's no sound. Oh wow. I don't know. I don't know what happened. Don't worry about my stream. Yeah, I don't know what happened either. It's challenging. But anyways, what I was saying is uh, um, you know, the challenge is just the headset, right? It's cumbersome. You know, I have a Quest 2 and I mean, I have it right here. You can see it. Well, somewhere it is. I have a charging now because you got to keep on charging that thing, you know, it loses its charge.
: Oh yeah. You know, and it's so big and bulky and I don't have the extra, you know, straps. So I'm using the original strap and they got these little um plastic things that are right in the back, right, to readjust it and it's just pushes on your brain.
: Okay. And so eventually I get this huge headache by playing VR and then you know you got the goggles which are kind of heavy when you're going around and you can't use glasses, right? You can't put glasses in there. So you're like this and because of the foam you're like sweating all the time. So it's like those I think are the barriers to entry to most people.
: It has to be a lot simpler. And I think you know Google had the right idea of having glasses like just like we have on right now, right? Just have them as AR, right? Um and that company like I said in New York is doing that type of thing, not for gaming per se, for real applications, but if if some company could come out with that, you know, and and there there are some I mean I've seen some, you know, for a lot less than a VR headset even. Um, so I think we're getting there and it's just it's going to take time, but it's going to be neat when you can play VR, you know, and see things so you don't bump into anything either, you know.
: Right. Right. I'm I'm watching as also saying getting vertigo uh for her was a deterrent. Uh I I try So I've only had mine for a short while and I've got a Vive so it's a hand-me-down. Someone had it sitting around and I like, "Hey, I'm thinking about doing VR. Does someone have one I could try, you know, before I" and a friend said, "Yeah, you can have it." So, um, playing as much.
: Yeah. Uh, well, no, he they he had upgraded, so it was just an old one sitting on the shelf that nobody was using, so he g he gave it to me.
: Um, but like I got to have like the controllers like the battery goes dead after like two hours. I can't I can't spend a long time playing anything that the batteries are going to be dead uh in it. And part of that's from age, I know, but also, you know, the whole way it's set up, but I actually just and I'm not going to say the game. I'm not going to say the game, but I actually just learned that there is a game that is connected to a TV show that I really, really, really like. And and I'm like, I may have finally found the game that I want to play in VR. I might have finally found my game.
: But what I was going to say though is uh with the connection with the vertigo um when I was first doing it, I would I mean I was getting uh nauseous while while doing it. I wasn't getting vertigo, but I found if I was sitting in my chair instead of actually walking around, I was better. There was just something in the perception. Plus, I I wear bifocals, so I could put contacts in, but the bifocals are designed for one is reading close and one is reading far, but in the VR, it doesn't actually do that. It simulates it by making it blurry. Well, the bifocals can't unblur that. Uh, so I think that was part of my problem. And then I did get now contacts with no bifocal so that I I go in with the VR, but it's like I there's two reasons I don't do it that often. One, I don't always feel so good after I do it. Two, I've got vision issues with it. And three, the tech doesn't last that long, which is probably beneficial for the first two reasons.
: So, well, that's the thing is I I had it I I got it for mine for free, too. Um because I was part of the Christian Gaming Development uh conference, and they were developing a VR uh game, a Christian VR game, and I had to obviously test it. So, um, they gave me one and I loved it and I tested it for quite a time, but after a certain period of time, you're like, it is so cumbersome to put and set this up before, especially when you're streaming and trying to get chat in the stream and stuff, you just say.
: So, I had it sitting for about a year and a half, you know, until just recently, you know, but but I I I I don't know how easy it will be to do um VR trucking. Um, I'm kind of looking into that now. You know, the other thing I wanted to try to do, and I don't know if this is even possible, but I've heard that you can find somebody who mods, you know, uh, a truck. Yeah. And they can actually put the logo up on the truck. So, I could have Blessing Boat and I could have a Blessing Boat convoy being able to go all over the cities.
: Um, the only thing that I I I was surprised by on the on the trucking simulators, you can't you can bring in friends, but you don't have it's not like everybody's open to it. You know, you can have your convoy of eight people, but it doesn't go out to the world. So, it'd be kind of cool to have other people drive in your same, you know, area.
: Yeah. And see if they're just as crazy as you are. I mean, you watch me and watch some of my friends. are like, you know, going 80, 90 miles per hour down the road just trying to avoid traffic.
: But speaking of that, the other thing I'm getting into just cuz my friend told me about it, is uh a set of Corsa also has a um a server mod, which my friend set up that you can actually scream down uh Tokyo on a car. Okay. You have to avoid traffic. The traffic's coming, you know, at you. I mean, you're going with the traffic, but they're so slow. You got to make sure you're maneuvering all the time, and it's a lot of fun.
: But, uh, I I could never make it to the end of the course because I would always crash and then my wheel would come off.
: Yeah. It's It's kind of like high-speed Frogger except you're going with traffic instead of crossed it. Yep. Yep. So, that, you know, and that's is just something I like and it gets me excited because it's it's adrenaline rush, you know.
: Yeah. Yeah, you're going at 150 mph trying not to get hit by another car. May they're AI so they go into you. You know, that's the whole point.
: Oh, maybe you need to get the uh the steering wheel and that'll help. I know. I want one. I do want one, but my wife is like, "You don't need to pay any more money for streaming stuff." Uh yeah, there's there's that conversation all the time of why why are you doing it? Is it needed? Will it get will there be a payback? Uh yeah, and is it really ministry? I mean, my wife says that all.
: Oh, well, I don't I don't run into is it really ministry because uh I tell stories and it's evident that it really is ministry. Uh because you're reaching people that the church isn't reaching. And and if you're reaching people the church isn't reaching, it is ministry. U it definitely definitely is.
: So So I'm not on the side of is it ministry or not. It's just the how much are you making from that? And uh and oh, you're doing one more thing and how much does that new thing cost? Oh, and you need new like, you know, I I was looking to replace this microphone and and it it didn't happen. Uh because I I I got a different microphone uh so that I can do more remote things and do do the workout stream.
: So, yeah, I got a I got a microphone to be able to do the workout streams. So, and then if I do the cooking streams and if I'm out doing, you know, in person uh anything else, it makes it better for uh you know, recording on my phone. So, you know, all those kinds of things like, okay, how do you count the cost? How do you measure it? What's what is the utiliz?
: This is the way I'm going to say it. The utilization of it is it beneficial versus not beneficial as opposed to rate of return. Because I can't measure rate of return on it. I can I can only measure utilization and benefits of of utilizing it and that's that's all I can do.
: Yeah. Well, you're talking about experimentation too. I had experimented with um you know Tik Tok and other things by going and doing IRL and IRL was not working so well until I started getting a new mic. Uh you know, one of those little fuzzy things that you can plug into your phone and it became really good. And I did it for a while with my other dog, my my husky.
: Well, both of them actually. And it was fun, you know, because I would be, you know, doing stuff I do with my dog anyways, and people would come by and see my huskies, and we would talk and stuff like that. Uh it didn't last too long because unfortunately my other husky died, but um you know, it was just again experimentation. I I kind of like that.
: I'm not a tech guy per se, but I do like kind of playing around with certain things and seeing, you know, could this work? Is this something that would bring more people in to maybe learn more about Blessing Boat, learn more about me, you know, those type of things.
: So, yeah. Uh, okay. I could I You don't need to do anything. I can change that. Oh, okay. I What's happening on my side? I've got different volume levels there. So, let me know if that's better for you. Probably my mic is way off to the side, too.
: When I got this, my headset, it's horrible. Well, earlier when they were complaining, I wasn't loud enough. I turned you down on my side. So, okay. So, it's better now. Okay. Um, any last thoughts that you have, Warrior, that you want to share with everybody about yourself, what you're doing with Blessing Boat or or just being a digital missionary, being on the mission field?
: Yeah, I I think the biggest thing for me right now, especially as we start planning and getting, you know, to a a bigger audience, I guess we're going to need more volunteers. Um, you know, I always love to have people go to my Blessing Boat event and or our Blessing Boat event and be able to just clip, you know, because the clips are so important to get for the fact that it goes into the streamer's stream and they can use it for whatever they want, you know, and if the streamer does, you know, put our logo on there, we also get exposure. Yeah. You know, um, and I look at it and I, you know, I'm I'm trying to build it so everybody that's been part of Blessing Boat, that will be part of Blessing Boat is going to get huge benefit by being part of it. You know, I I'm not selling anything to anybody, right? I'm just giving them an option to be part of an event. And if they like it, great. You know, hopefully they'll stay with me and they want to come back, you know, eventually. Um, I think the idea of going to the communities is a great idea.
: Yeah. Um, I just need to talk to more communities and see if they want to do that. And then, you know, we want to try to make it so, and this is where I I'm a little confused, but my my my partner said, "You need to have OBS portable." And I'm like, "What the heck is that?" and he said it's going to run a lot less uh on your resources of your computer and it's portable so you can actually bring in like a template that everybody can use when you're streaming Blessing Boat so it all looked the same and I know there was another guy Indie that did that uh 12 days of Christmas of Indie I don't know if you know who Indie is but no he's a a partner um he was part of Blessing Boat very very dynamic.
: He he hasn't been able to do it now because of his job and some other stuff. Um but he was just dynamite, you know, and he really knew what he was doing. Um and he had he had things dialed in so well that I'm like if I could only be a streamer like that, you know, but you know, with the blessing boat part of it, you know, again, I have in my head what I want to do.
: Yeah. The challenge and this is really I need the prayer for is Tony. Yeah. To be able to get healthy and be able to do what is needed to be done because I don't want to push him. But when I'm going so forward, I got to get things done and I can't just wait, you know? I mean, even right now, our website isn't done and it should have been done six months ago, you know.
: But yeah, I say the only other thing I was, I was just going to say along with that is maybe there's other people that can be recruited uh along the way so that if there's a month where Tony's gone, you've got someone to step in. If there's a month where you're gone, you've got someone to step in. Uh yeah. And there's also I know the level of you've got to trust people with the access to the things to be able to to to do everything. Um, there's certainly those kinds of things. So, yeah. Um, how about I uh say a prayer for you, man?
: Yeah, I appreciate that. All right.
: God, I just thank you for uh my friend Warrior of Light uh for uh his his vision that you have placed on him to um to be able to help Christian streamers be able to reach affiliate level followed that they will be able to u continue this ministry that you'll be able to expand it you'll be able to grow it uh you'll be able to give uh Tony the the health that he needs you'll be able to give warrior all of the other things that you are giving him vision for to be able to bring those about any tech help that's needed there and and then also to keep raising up more people in the community uh to be able to build on it to be able to expand it to be able to reach and connect other people.
: God, I just thank you for uh all of those people who are digital missionaries out there, whether they put a label on themselves, whether they don't, whether they're a mod, whether they're a streamer, whether there's someone in the community that is filled with love for you. Uh we're just praying your blessing and thank you in uh Jesus name. Amen.
: Amen. I was thinking, should we go through all the chat that we missed?
: Oh, I was I was kind of keeping up on on most of it. Uh, so I think I think we're okay. I think we're okay.
: So, okay, cool. All right. Thanks for having me on. It was great to talk to you, get to know you better, too. I'm appreciate you uh inviting me and you know we'll have to uh you know look at inviting you too because like I said the four years coming up and I'm trying to figure out how to do interviews you know live interviews and obviously those that are part of blessing boat and if you guys are hearing me and you are have been part of blessing boat if you could do a video testimonial we would love it it's basically three questions you can go to their website the testimonials and see some of the video questions that we have like Christian Ninja. In fact, Captain Eper pastor had it there.
: Um, but we want more videos. We want to be able to have more people who have been involved with Blessingboat. And again, if you don't know what Blessingboat is, you can go to blessingboat.com.
: Yeah. Well, just thinking about you were talking about with the four-year anniversary, maybe even doing uh a panel discussion, you know, that'd be cool. For for maybe the last hour uh of it or the last two hours and you bring in a group of people for, you know, a part of it to like maybe f four or five because you go past four or five people, it it becomes more cumbersome. Um or total of four, I should say. You bring in four, you go through that with those guests, and then you bring in another four or another three with you uh later on, and then you could split up, you know, every 40 minutes you bring in a new group or something like that to cover the last two hours. I don't know. Just a thought throwing it at you.
: No. Yeah, we're not going to have the regular, you know, format. So, the the interviews are one of the biggest things that we're going to do. And, you know, we're going to have family games that we can play all day long, too. So that's I just need help with planning it too, you know, because I only have certain amount of time and I only got I got ideas in my head and I want to be able to throw it out to people and say, "What do you think of this? Is this a good idea?" No. Yes. You know, go from there. But I need to start planning that right after Saturday.
: Well, I say after Saturday, maybe put a a new channel in the Discord that says, "Help us plan the event." Um, yeah. And then you can throw the ideas out and people can give feedback to you. But Yep. Cool. Well, thank you so much. Yeah. Were you going to raid over here and then I'll find someone to raid out or do we want to raid out to somebody together?
